I originally bought this plastic organizer/tamping station for its small size—one of the smallest of the numerous ones offered—but was afraid that not being wood, it would be cheap-looking. To my pleasant surprise, that’s not the case at all. For one thing the fact that the plastic has no glossy sheen at all — it’s a nice matte black — keeps it from standing out, blending especially well with the black trim of my adjacent espresso machine. And I think its lack of woodgrain also keeps it relatively invisible among the necessary espresso-making paraphernalia that tends to accumulate in every afficianado’s coffee corner. And adding to its feel of quality is its reasonable weightiness (to me, a positive, not a negative). Very nice. The fact that it is only about $10 is just icing on the cake.

Overall good device for the price. Quality is solid, not heavy, and sits flat on counter (no wobbling). Only issue is the portafilter holder is not universal. I will likely have to melt some of the plastic away to fit my portafilter properly. Otherwise it looks good, keeps things organized, and is a fair price.

This espresso knock box with tamp station has made my home espresso setup much more organized. The knock box is sturdy and holds up well even with frequent use. It’s easy to knock out used coffee grounds, and the integrated tamp station keeps my tamper conveniently at hand. The design is compact and doesn’t take up much counter space, which is a big plus for small kitchens. It is also good for stability and is lightweight. Good value for money as well. The only minor issue is that it can get a bit messy if you’re not careful when tapping out the portafilter, but overall it’s easy to clean and maintain. I’ve been using it daily, and it has held up nicely with no signs of wear. This combo is perfect for anyone looking to streamline their espresso routine and keep the workspace tidy.

I love that the knock box comes out for empting. Be careful, I knocked mine so hard the silicon bumper came off. It is adjustable for any portafilter. Has plenty of room for my distributor, puck press and other items.

Very sturdy and stable. Does a nice job.

Works great but is super hard to clean. Water and grinds get stuck inside the plastic base. Ended up just keeping the knock box and putting the rest of my pieces in a drawer.

Very nice size - Great design and stable platform for clear basket and tamping espressos. Very easy to clean and removable tray is a breeze to dump. Overall it’s a great value for the money!!
