Leerdammer Original Slices, 160g , Pack of 1

Beautiful cheese with a lovely nutty flavour. Not for toasting but great in sandwiches and salads.

I love this cheese, sweet and nutty and really more ish. Great in a deli roll with salad and mayo, maybe some German Peppered Salami in there ooh. Expensive when not on a deal, but Leerdammer is lush.

Consistently good

Recently went lactose free. No biggie these days with all the alternatives and especially the lactose free milk in the shops. But I did miss tasty cheeses. I've since discovered the full range of Lactofree cheeses, like their stilton and their mature cheddar, which surprisingly for me, are pretty decent. However, I have always enjoyed the sweet, nutty, delicate flavour of Leerdammer and similar cheeses, so when I read on the reverse of the pack that it's a lactose free cheese, I was very pleasantly surprised. Great with a burger or in a sandwich.

The product is great but the packaging is so wasteful, so much plastic. I am trying to reduce my plastic consumption.

Delicious as always for a keto diet girl. but I'm sure they are using larger mice nowadays at the leerdammer factory, the holes are a lot bigger than last year. Maybe it's got something to do with the cost of living crisis. 😄😄
