I bought these as a joke for the golf ladies on league...BUT they really work! Super cute too :)

I hit two drives using this tee and it broke on the second drive. In their video they we’re hitting it with a hammer, apparently a driver is what they should have used to test it.

The birdie79 Short King Tee is awesome! I have the hot pink with a funny clown attached. I have spent a small fortune on durable tee's and I have lost more than I can remember. This design is ingenious ! The colorful crazy clown gets everyone's attention making it super easy to find. I love the makings on the side of the tee as this matters depending upon the club you are driving with. You can get really good height on this tee. And since it is big I found it easier to make good contact on the ball when I was driving. I went golfing with my brother and sister in law this weekend and they loved my new Short King Tee. I do too, it was a blast to play with and totally made everyone want one. Let's call it golfers envy! The durability is excellent and my little clown bounced around the course just fine.Love, love, love this tee. I absolutely recommend it.

Sadly this tee broke after a few uses!

I received one very bright, large, tee with tiny brightly colored clown attached by a cord. Now this isn’t something that I would have considered thirty years ago when I was learning to golf but now I’m more relaxed and the fact that I can see it better works for me. Also I have found that things like this encourages my kids to join in because golf doesn’t seem like such a serious, boring thing to do!

I am really impressed with the quality of this golf tee. The top portion is high quality silicone and the bottom is sturdy plastic. The little clown is tethered to the tee with a piece of nylon string and isn't coming off easily...it's manufactured into the tee itself. I am anxious to try it in real life, but I live in Minnesota and it'll be a couple of months before I get to use it in action.I have been using a martini tee (TM) for the past couple of years and I like how high I can tee it up and I anticipate that this will be even better because I'll be able to know exactly where to tee it with the guide on the hard plastic portion. I don't mind paying a little more for a good tee if I'm not going to loose it (thank you little clown)!The part I am most curious about is if the little clown is going to be distracting to me when I am teeing off. I love the concept of being able to see that little guy after I hit the ball (my tees are notorious for flying behind me), but I hope he isn't distracting.I'll report back once I use it at the start of the golf season.

UPDATED: I finally went out and used this tee. My family and I got about 50 hits out of this driving balls (not all of them were us hitting the tee at all) before the silicone tore off in half and the plastic inside of it was crushed in and bent a bit sideways.Does it work? Absolutely. The clown and tee kept it from flying off into a close lake that we were driving balls past onto other land.As they mention in the listing, "No matter how strong a golf tee is, it will eventually break" and unfortunately they were right.I am reducing the rating though because I was hoping to have it last longer and once the silicone tore off, it became completely unusable. I am mixed feelings on this because it is a fantastic tee while it works and garbage as soon as the silicone is gone. For this durability, it's just unfortunately cheaper to just buy the wooden tees and not pollute the world with more silicone that doesn't degrade or go anywhere.Original review:This short king tee is awesome. As they show in their video, it has a silicone top portion with a plastic middle which drastically reduces the chances of this breaking while being hit. It also has a bigger top which allows the golf ball to easily rest on and it is in high visibility colors so you wont lose it. If that wasn't enough, they come with a cute clown attached to it which adds extra weight and visibility to ensure it won't fly as far as it could. Great tee that should last a long time.

I use this silicone tee in our backyard when hitting against a net, otherwise I would go through so many tees during practice. It works nicely, the clown attached keeps it from going far if it comes out, and easy to find. I am not a fan of the clown but hitting in the backyard no one else sees it! I've started to use the string and clown to point in the direction that I want to hit, giving me the ability to align my feet parallel to the ball/direction, which so far seems to be a great technique, and makes the string/clown more useful.
