Backup Camera Compatible with Ford Fusion 2013-2016

Great Upgrade – Worth the Effort Installation took some time, but it was worth every minute. I installed the camera myself, and so far, it’s working great. My neck doesn’t ache from constantly turning around, and the visibility is a huge improvement. It’s only been a week, so I can’t speak to long-term reliability yet, but I definitely recommend this product and supplier.

Based on a Ford OEM being $160 I would say that this is a pretty dang good price to get your back up camera up and working again a little fuzzy on the screen, but that could just be my head unit as well but what can you expect for a $30 reverse camera? Does the job?

Good value for money. Works mostly as advertised. However, the set-up after install was not flawless. Initially the guidelines etc were not working. Somehow, after (failed) attempts to re-calibrate the camera through forscan (including a car computer reset through battery disconnect) it miraculously started working later that day. Still, the camera seems to be tilted downwards further than desired. Therefore it captures a decent amount of the edge of my trunk; wasting camera FOV and making it harder to see obstacles further behind the car. (Such as oncoming traffic while backing out a diagional roadside parking spot). It has been so long singe the original module failed, I do not remember what the downwards angle was supposed to be. I do not think i installed it wrong (Only seems to go one way, the bracket angle seems fixed, and I essentially just replaced the old malfunctioning module) but since i did this only once, and I am not a mechanic; i cannot exclude an installation error with very high confidence. Though, the camera and all trunk parts fit well and are secured well. so this cannot be the cause. Either way, though imperfectly, it works for me.

As described. Fit car perfectly. Maybe a little wider range of view than OEM. Satisfied w purchase.

2015 Ford Fusion Titanium. You get what you pay for. It works, but the image accuracy/quality is NOT even close to as good as factory. The worst part is that the parking guide lines are WAY off. With the factory camera, you can TRUST the guide lines in the image and be inch-perfect with your maneuvering. The guide lines on this camera are just pasted in the center of the image and do NOT correlate to the geometry of your vehicle at all, so you still have to use your mirrors. Huge L The viewing distance is also not as good as the factory camera. Funny and ironic story: first time I used it in reverse in a parking situation, a Tesla and I were backing out directly opposite each other at the same time, and I would not have seen him if I didn't use my mirror too. We almost collided. Go figure. The problem was that this camera doesn't project far enough clearly, and a vehicle simply in the opposite parking row could not be seen. Total junk. Don't buy it. Get the OEM one and install it yourself. It's not a fun installation either, but I will do it a second time just to remove this junk camera. You've been warned

Used to replace original camera in a 2013 Ford Fusion. Perfect fit and has worked with no problem for 6+ months. Was a bit of a pain to access the old camera to replace, but that is not an issue with this product. “Plug and play” no fancy software instal etc.

This camera was bought for a 2015 Ford Fusion to replace the blurry factory camera. Installation was easy, after install the camera was very clear. The white dynamic back up lines and color distance lines showed up after driving around the block and putting in reverse a few times. HOWEVER, this camera is fully zoomed in and you can not zoom out. The reason for this is that it is not compatible with the Ford camera module and LIN module through Forscan PC software. Basically the camera is not compatible with the Fusion's computer and can not be programmed to be recognized as a new camera by the computer.

The backup camera in my 2016 Ford Fusion has been acting funny on and off for maybe a year. It was sporadic and got annoying so I googled replacement options. After doing my homework with YouTube University, I pulled everything on the car trunk to access the camera to confirm the model before ordering. I didn't want to go with the trial and error process because I wanted this job to be one and done. The camera was an identical replacement. It did have an enhancement compared to the factory camera. This one has the solid black dotted lines I use to align with the parking lot lines. It's a great bonus considering the other lines on the screen curve as you turn the steering wheel. A few days after installing myself, that camera started acting funny but it was only one time. I think the wiring might have a short which is why the original camera acted up sporadically. I absolutely recommend this as a replacement camera. I didn't bother looking at what the Ford version would cost because I'm sure it significantly more than Amazon. The quality is very good. I'm a happy customer.

Avoid buying the camera, the picture is weird and blurry, makes you feeling sick, it fit well but not worth the hassle and money
