These books are wonderful for logical kids. My 10 year old finished the first one over a few weeks and loved it, so have bought him no.2 for Easter. I know he'll love this and finish it in no time. Just need no. 3 to come out before Christmas 😄 great buy for any quizical kids. The adults one are fab too.

This is a fantastic book for young mystery lovers. The puzzles are well thought out and strike a good balance between challenging and achievable so children don’t get frustrated but still feel like proper detectives when they solve them. The variety is excellent too from logic grids and codes to little riddles and mazes which keeps each page feeling fresh. The theme and characters add to the fun and the illustrations give it a lively feel without being distracting. It is aimed at roughly 8–12 years and that feels spot on. Younger readers can tackle it with a bit of guidance while older ones will enjoy working through on their own. Perfect for travel, rainy days or just a screen free activity that gets kids thinking. A great buy if you want something entertaining that also sharpens problem solving skills.

Very good for children my granddaughter loved it kept her quiet for ages. Very entertaining.

My son (10) enjoyed it but said he liked the first book better. I’m sure he’ll still want to try the next one when it comes out!
