Great Keyboard Out of the Box, or as a Platform For Upgrading (Until wireless failure - See update)
12/19/25 Update: After reaching out to Epomaker support, they responded pretty quickly. I went through some basic troubleshooting with them, and I sent them some videos of the issue at their request. Once my issue was clearly established, they made an initial offer of a partial refund due to the keyboard still working under wired mode. I responded back and made clear that wired mode was not my intended use case. They said they understood and sent me a new keyboard. I appreciate that Epomaker's support team worked to verify the issue, and that they were extremely reasonable when it came to my expectations. They even followed up with me today to make sure that I had received the new unit, and that everything was working properly. This experience will certainly keep Epomaker keebs in options in the future. Back to Five stars! ------------------------------------------------------ 12/1/25 Update: I have been using this keyboard exclusively for a month wirelessly via the included 2.4ghz dongle. Yesterday the keyboard randomly stopped connecting to it. I have also tried to connect to multiple devices via bluetooth, and that is also failing. I have reached out to Epomaker support to resolve, and will report back here. They keyboard is still functional via USB and wonderful to type on, but I prefer the wireless connection. Removing 2 stars until this is solved. -------------------------------- I have been using this as my main keyboard for both my work and personal computer since I received it. Out of the box the keyboard looks and sounds amazing. It sounds thick and thocky, and it feels solid to type on. The OEM style caps that are on it are nice, and the stock wisteria linear switches have a medium stiff keypress. It really is a great value out of the box. That level of value also makes it a great candidate to use as a platform to build up from. I really got this for the all aluminum body. As a linear switch isn't really my preference, I put in a set of gateron baby kangaroo tactile switches. I also prefer a flatter keycap profile, so I put a set of XDA profile keycaps on it. To my ear, it sounds even more amazing. With the tactile switches it feels more solid to the touch and the caps give it more uniform appearance. Overall, I am quite happy to have this on my desk. I was initially looking at the Keychron Q5 Max, but I'm glad I decided to chance this. I was able to get this set up the way I like for less that what the cost of the Keychron would have been. It's just a fantastic keyboard for the money.

A really nice keyboard that feels premium
First off, it feels SO solid. The aluminum case is heavy in a good way and does not move around at all on my desk. It just feels expensive. The creamy white color is really pretty and clean, and the RGB looks nice without being obnoxious. The switches are buttery smooth. Typing on this is actually addictive. No scratchy feeling and no annoying loud clacks. Just really smooth, quiet, satisfying keystrokes. It makes working more enjoyable than my old keyboard. Wireless works great too. I have been using both Bluetooth and the 2.4G dongle and have not had any lag or disconnect issues. Battery life has also been solid, and I do not feel like I am constantly charging it. I also love that it is hot swappable so I can change switches later if I ever want to. Overall, I am really happy with it and would definitely recommend it.

Looks and Sounds great
I’ve been using the Epomaker Galaxy 100 and it’s easily one of my favorite keyboards. It feels really well built and has a solid, premium feel on the desk. It’s also pretty heavy, which I actually like because it stays in place and doesn’t slide around while I’m typing. I have the marble switches in mine and the sound is amazing, smooth, satisfying, and just overall really pleasant to type on. It sounds great stock, but it also takes customizations really well. It has tri-connectivity, which is nice because you have a variety of ways to work with it. I swapped the stock keycaps for the YUNZII Coffee Cat keycaps and it looks incredible. The set fits nicely, feels good to type on, and adds a cute aesthetic without looking cheap. Overall, between the weight, the build quality, the marble switch sound, and how good it looks customized, I’m super happy with the Galaxy 100 and would definitely recommend it.

Love the sound! WISTERIA LINEAR SWITCHES
I'm not really well versed in the keyboard scene, but I've been looking for a nice, affordable, hot swappable keyboard for my gaming set up and this was it! Before this, I was using the logitech keyboard from the aurora collection and I loved the lighting settings and it served its purpose. This keyboard however feels better when I'm typing and the sound is so much softer on the ears!! Whenever I'm bored I'm just using monkey type so I can hear the keys lol. In the picture, you'll see I changed the keycaps to match my setup more, but the stock keycaps felt really good and were very easy to type on. I was also surprised to feel how heavy it is! It has a weight to it that makes the keyboard feel more high quality, and the aluminum makes it feel more durable. Connecting it to my computer was easy, I used a wired connection and tried the bluetooth, not sure about the wifi connection though. Literally, the only downsides I had were these: when swapping out the caps, the switches sometimes came with (just a little annoyance), and the software. The driver does not work on my pc as an app (it won't allow me to upload the json file and cannot detect my keyboard), so if I ever want to change the lighting or keybinds I have to make sure I bookmark the link for my driver and use my browser to fix it...it also didn't feel very user friendly at least for me, which again I've never really used any other keyboard drivers besides the logitech app for my previous keyboard. I also wish there was a way to personalize the lighting on it a little more! I ended up with the jellybean rain drops in the settings, but there's maybe 10 presets and I haven't figured out yet if there's a way to make your own lighting patterns. If anyone has advice on that, please let me know :) Overall, I think for $100 - $120 this is a really great keyboard and I'm hoping there is some longevity to it as well. If you're looking for an affordable option or to get into mechanical keyboards, I think this is a great way to start.

Instantly my favorite keyboard I've ever owned!
I should note, even as it comes baseline, this keyboard sounds and feels utterly amazing. The low toned pops of the keys are very satisfying to the ears. However, my personal preference is silent switches, so I paired this with Epomaker's Sorane silent switches and it is absolutely silent. I also swapped out the keycaps for my thematic witchy vibes choice and it looks and feels just drop dead gorgeous and comfortable. This thing weighs a TON, too. Extremely well built and high quality keyboard that won't be sliding around any desk anytime soon. Functionally, it was plug and play for me, although the bluetooth and wireless connectivity work just as splendidly. It's almost not quite full size, but it's the perfect size for me. Typing on this keyboard is a delight, and I'm excited to have it as my daily driver for the extensive forseeable future. My last Epomaker keyboard lasted me years and still had no issues whatsoever, so I expect I'll get many years of enjoyment out of this one as well. The volume knob is terrifically sized, not obtrusive and provides soft tactile quiet feedback when adjusting volume. Pressing it is, of course, a mute toggle. There's a foam dampening layer under the spacebar, too, making that pesky spacebar, which is usually always a little louder than the other keys, exactly the same level of sound or quiet depending on whether you keep the original switches or not. The included keycap puller/switch remover was wonderful and easy to use, as usual. Setting up VIA was simple. I just had to download the json file (in my case the one from 2024, the newer one did not work) from the Epomaker website via a google search, load up VIA on my desktop, enable the design tab, go to design tab and load the json file. Voila. VIA works perfectly and I was able to remap my right alt to be right control instead, which is what I'm used to. I am over the moon with this purchase and cannot recommend this keyboard enough!

Great full sized keyboard
My first real mechanical keyboard and I love it! I had purchased a cheap 60% gaming keyboard before but wanted a full sized one for work and this one is well worth the price. Right out of the box this keyboard does not need an modifications. The switches feel smooth, quality is great and the sound is awesome, very thocky exactly what I was looking for! I also like the different light settings, I typically have it always set to the setting where it changes the color the of the key I press. I typically use this keyboard plugged in but did try the Bluetooth option and did not notice any type of delay or lag. Also the volume knob it the chefs kiss, at first I was like what's the point but not having it on my other keyboards you start to realize how often you use it and how convenient it is. Lastly one thing to note, this is a aluminum keyboard and therefore this guy is hefty and not very travel friendly.

My Favorite Keyboard - Sounds Like Marbles From Heaven!
I got the White/Purple version with Wisteria switches. I love it! This was easily the best-sounding stock keyboard I’ve ever owned! Out of the box, it sounded like deep, resonant marbles colliding—rich, solid, and incredibly satisfying. I was genuinely so impressed. I also love that its heavy and feels durable. I bought a more expensive Keychron at the same time, and this Epomaker Galaxy100 makes the Keychron seem like a cheap, plastic knockoff. The Epomaker keycaps are beautiful, the white/purple colors looks great, the switches sound amazing on the metal frame with the layers of foam, and it feels sturdy and very high quality. I did, however, encounter some weird battery defect issues, but after emailing the Epomaker support team and navigating through some troubleshooting steps to confirm it wasn't an easy fix - they ultimately offered to replace it for me, which I'm very satisfied with. They are currently sending the replacement now and will update this review once I've received it! Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase!

Premium Aluminum Keyboard with Great Value for Typing
The EPOMAKER Galaxy100 offers excellent value considering the premium aluminum build and overall feature set. The gasket mounted design combined with multiple sound dampening layers delivers a smooth, soft, and satisfying typing experience with a pleasant thocky sound. The included pre lubed linear switches feel consistent and comfortable right out of the box, making this keyboard especially enjoyable for long typing or office sessions. QMK and VIA support add a high level of customization, allowing deep key remapping and macro control across multiple devices. Wireless performance is strong thanks to the large battery and flexible tri mode connectivity options. The aluminum case gives the keyboard a solid, high quality feel that stays firmly planted on the desk. That said, gamers should note that there are better options around this price that include Hall effect switches and SOCD support, which may offer a competitive edge for gaming focused use.
