I created many patterns on wood for string art projects and these nails were perfect.

These are great finishing nails if your work requires a nice polished brass look. However, if you require something stronger to hold pieces together you would want to get something steel. These can bend very easily if you're not careful to drive them straight and you can snip them in half with a pair of heavy duty scissors or side cutters.

I needed them for a very specific use case, and it was important that they be 17 ga. They are slightly smaller. That difference likely won't matter for 99% of the folks who buy them, but throwing it out there just in case.
