Our boy has gone from pulling like a train to walking on a loose leash in just one 30 minute walk.

It is best to get advice on use from a dog trainer, behaviourist, in regards to setting. This product works well and is well constructed, with metal rings that prevent wear and makes it more secure. This is not a collar for full-time use, it should only be used when walking, not off lead or tethering. This product has stopped lead aggressive behaviour and pulling, both within two training sessions, we're so impressed with the improvement. I do stress that getting advice on the use is paramount for the dogs welfare, as there are no instructions for positioning supplied. You do need a separate lead to the dogs proper collar to ensure the dog is secure, controlled and safe, this lead should be slack when at heal. Our dogs are both 8, one is 42kg, this has changed our lives to be honest, I bought another for the smaller dog. Would recommend, any questions I'll be pleased to answer.

I bought this in October 2022 to use as a slip collar on the advice of a trainer. It didn't really help my dog's behaviour as she will choke herself out before she'll stop going for another dog. However, the collar is still in daily use and still going strong in March 2024 as I found an alternative use for it. I attach it to her lead which is also attached to her harness. If she slips out of the harness, there's no way she's going anywhere still attached to the collar. This has happened a few times. I found at first that the collar was too slidy and wouldn't stay in place behind the ears but with use, the cord roughens up and is more effective. I'll buy another when this one eventually wears out.

It does seem to create knots on my Leonbergers. I’d advise not leaving the collar on. Fur does clog the restrictors but it is easy to clear by sliding it back and forth, grabbing fur underneath etc. on the whole, an excellent product. Just a few things to note. Really strong and helpful for a 76kg lead reactive/over enthusiastic greeter Leonberger. Additional comment Easily chewable by puppies

In relation to the thin (4mm) slip collar - bought in a size Small. Initially thought this would be a good slip collar, however within only two weeks of use, it ended up fraying and actually snapping whilst on my dog's neck. Stopper also does not seem very strong, making the collar often ride down my dog's neck, so no longer working effectively as a slip. Real safety risk if this snaps, appears far too thin and of poor quality to maintain function and use. Would not recommend, feels like a waste of money. To note, I have also bought the slightly thicker slip collar (with 1 limiter) in a size XS at the same time as this collar - this one is by far superior and is still going strong now, with no obvious signs of fraying. I put this down to a slightly thicker cord and generally better build quality. Do not bother buying the thin one (albeit was the most effective in teaching my dog to loose lead walk) - find another company if you wish for a very thin slip collar/lead

Bought to replace a previous choke collar that had worn thin. Thicker and the stops are quite firm so no slipping. My dog is comfortable wearing this.

Bought this collar for my very dapper 85lb Dobermann lady — she turns heads on every walk, so naturally, she needed gear that matched the vibe. This one looked the part: strong cord, well-crafted, and those limiters were a smart touch. For the first couple of weeks, it held up nicely — effective in guiding her without being too harsh, and easy to adjust. But then the cord started to fray, and the stoppers? They started slipping like they were late for a meeting. She’s not exactly gentle on gear, but for this price, I was hoping for something a bit more durable — especially for a dog built like a sleek panther in heels. Not a total bust, just not quite Dobermann-grade for the long haul.
