These gift boxes are super cute and festive! No assembly required, all I needed to do was pop in 3 AA batteries and turn it on.You have 3 lighting options - keep it consistently on; a timed light (i believe it's 6 hours at a time); or no light. The light itself is a very warm, welcoming, and bright.The sizing of the gifts is accurate to the seller's description. The boxes are sturdy and there is some type of thick plastic hidden under the bows so they keep their shape.I am very happy with this decoration and like that due to the materials, it can be used indoor or outdoors!

I was so excited to order these lighted Christmas boxes! I had some in years past that finally croaked, and everything I'd seen before these were just not that pretty or too small or something else kept me from trying them. The only thing with this set I wasn't thrilled about was battery operation, but if everything else was good, I was willing to use the batteries and timer feature.They arrived today and unfortunately, there was a wiring issue between the two smaller boxes and the largest one. It didn't light up. Further, the pinecone on the middle box was laying in the bottom of the shipping box. Now, that's an easy enough fix with some glue, but the faulty wiring to the largest box really is a quality control issue that shouldn't have happened. I was pretty careful taking them out of the shipping box, so I don't think I pulled it loose. Fortunately, I have a handy husband who was able to get them all working and reinforced it with black electrical tape.I am planning to place them on our covered front porch, so they will be somewhat out of the weather. They are on the delicate side, which is part of why I like them, so I don't think I'd put them out in the yard unprotected.If the wiring hadn't been faulty, I would have given it 4 stars, just taking one off for the pinecone issue. It's really is lovely when it's all working, and the size of them is good. It’s possible the one I received is an anomaly. Since this item does have free returns, if you order it now and get one that's defective, you would have time to ask for a replacement and get it for the holidays or a refund if you preferred. These are a decent size and look really beautiful all lit up at night. They are battery operated so keep that in mind when ordering that depending on how often you have them on you couldn't be changing batteries a couple times. I still love them!
