Q: How do you clean the pleated blind surface that faces the skylight ? Do you have to take the whole assembly out of the window ?

Good morning. Thank you for contacting us. Yes, unfortunately, this would be the only way to clean the outer surface of the blind. On the internal surface, this can be kept clean using a damp cloth. All VELUX blinds are designed with the highest quality of materials so this should not be something you need to do regularly as long as the room is being ventilated. Kind Regards.
