Fleece Non-Slip Fleece Bareback Pad with Girth

Great for bareback riding the only problem with it is that when you're riding it slips back and is very uncomfortable. the pad itself is very thick and cushiony great for a horse with a bony back. I only needed it for about a month though because my horse gained a lot of weight after i got him. (I adopted him from a horse rescue so he was on the skinnier side and is now a healthy weight just a little rounder than he needs to be)

It's a nice pad but it's kind of small. Mind you I have a 16.1 Warmblood. Tried it on for the first time about 2 months after purchasing it due to a lameness. Girth is too short and the pad looks a bit awkward because it's so small. Unfortunately it will not fit my mare but it's too late to return it so maybe I can sell it to someone at my barn.Update. I dropped the rating down to 2 stars. My horse hates this pad. The strap is over the withers, so when you tighten the girth it puts pressure directly on the withers and is painful. My mare is not girthy but she will pin her ears and snap at me while trying to tighten it, she is not even high withered. If the strap was offset a few inches back It would be fine. When I do use this I have to put several pads under it and it all ends up sliding back while I ride.It may work for some but did not work for us.

Does not slip. I can trot without feeling as though I’m going to fall, with grasping the handle. I know I shouldn’t do this, yet boosts my confidence in my bareback riding.The best part is how easy you can wash it (I have yet had to do this, but can tell with the material).It is also cheaper than what I saw at Tractor Supply by $20!Would buy again!

Very comfortable. Girth far to short. Thankfully, an old girth did.

This is bigger than I expected. I guess I didn't look at the measurements properly when I was buying. The Cinch is great, and I have been using it to sack out my filly and get her used to items on her back that don't realy have any weight to them. Haven't used it for riding as she's way too young, but I am sure it will last for quite some time.

Love this! Very high quality and the bottom side is so soft on the horse. Fits our horses as they’ve lost lots of wieght too! (They’re quarter pony so on the small side) just wish there were more colors available! We have both the blue and hunter green

So far the kids have loved for their bareback lessons. They feel comfortable and not slippery and the pad doesn't slip on the horse either. Nice adjustable girth fits small to large horses.

It fits my mare nicely, no slipping on her back. However If your wearing jeans the fleece can be a bit slick your but. But over all nice pad. Maybe some hairspray for a bit of resistance.
