I had some technical issues on my first flight, the drone kept ascending without my touching the control sticks and the automated flights wouldn't start. I was able to fix these by completing all updates on the drone. Since then it's been working flawlessly. The RTH on this drone is the most accurate I've ever seen and I've used parrot and DJI drones before now and still do. The drone is very stable in heavy winds and just flys like a champ. Customer service is a bit slow but quite polite, professional and helpful. I had some issues with connecting the lanyard and they quickly sent me a user guide on how to install it on the controller. This drone has the best connection I've ever seen on a drone. Very strong and consistent compared to other drones I've used. Overall I'd say I'm very satisfied with this purchase. The only reason why it's not a 5 star from me is that the user interface of the Autel App isn't very intuitive, especially the settings tab, most of the settings are just placed randomly and it's hard to find certain quick settings quickly. Also, there very little resource from Autel about how to make the most out this powerful drone, a detailed guide or maybe a video tutorial on its features and use cases would be great 😃. As long as you're competent to scroll through settings and understand why something might not work the way you want it to, you will not be disappointed. ### ⭐ Falls from the sky without warning total junk and no support from autel *by J***H on 3 May 2026* Do not buy anything form Autel. I am a very experienced licensed drone pilot with a fleet of over 12 drones, I brought this drone and on my second flight with a 80% full battery it fell from the open sky without warning just lost all power to all 4 propellers and tumbled 300' to the ground completely destroyed. I contacted Autel support and after months of arguing with them over emails with weeks between replys, they told me to ship them what was left of the drone and they would repair or replace it. It's been almost a year and they still haven't refunded me or replaced my drone. And they insisted that I return my controller with it that they have now stolen. someone should start a class action lawsuit against Autel. I am planning on suing them and filling a criminal complaint for the fraud perpetrated on me.I have all documentation.
