Continue your search if you have landed on these for trivets. Much like other reviews, they do melt when coming into contact with hot pans. First guess would be an item advertised for hot handling in the kitchen can withstand hot pans, but they are only heat resistant up to 302 degrees F, which is virtually nothing that would come out of the oven. The holes are nice when it comes to hanging them for storage, but they are useless for the purpose that they were purchased.

Nicely stack and offer good base for hot pots

I loved the price and they matched another one I had purchased elsewhere that was a different brand. Bummed out now though because the material is a little different, not as high of quality and keeps melting on my pans when I take things out of the oven. The temperature of the oven is at 350 to 425 degrees typically.

They will stick to the bottom of the pot. Make sure you take it off before putting the pot in the fridge so when you get it out to reheat you don't put it on the stove.Fortunately, for me my husband realized that it was stuck to the pan before putting it on the stove.

I bought these because they say you can use them to take pans out of the oven. I did just that and they melted. I’m using them to put hot dishes on but was disappointed they can’t be used as show. Super flexible though and easy to clean.
