Looked into this type of device and went with these easy to get working couldn't be easier. Can be a handful night light plus I think they help with air quality but I kinda just trust as I have no way of measuring it. But good price.

Probably need more than one unit in anything other than a small room.

I was sceptical about these airplugs, I have a track record of buying similar products, usually larger table top machines and using them until they need a filter change then deciding they don’t work so dumping them. With no need to change filters the potential to improve air quality whilst also having the option to use the plug as a night light, a welcome feature for the kids’ rooms made these worth a try. Having researched them they clean the air by releasing -ve ions to bind to and weigh down pollutants to take them out of the air to be hovered up or wiped away from surfaces whilst dusting. I set one up in the living room and another in the cat’s quarters, (I never open any windows for fear of spiders). After a month I reviewed their performance, I felt there was no change in the cat room and that I still often walked into the living room and felt it smelt stale so I left it another month. After the second month I’d forgotten about them, with the light off they just blend in, almost silently whirring away in the background. When I came to write this review I realised that I hadn’t walked into the living room and complained about it smelling stale for a while. During the second month the weather and room temp had cooled considerably which may well have helped suppress odours, but it could just as easily be the purifier. The cat’s area is another story, I noticed no difference at all, although I doubt anything other than regular deep cleans can keep the smells at bay there so I wasn’t expecting a miracle. In use the tiny red “in use” light is handy although you can hear and feel the air circulating when it is operating anyway (see video to hear the whirring noise). Not needing to change a filter, instead simply cleaning the brush heads with a cloth, is a massive plus I’m still sceptical about air filters, but I can’t deny the living room does “feel” fresher, whether this co-incides with the drop in temperature or use of the plug I’m unsure. When I ordered they were £29.99, £7.50 per plug, with the nightlight facility they’re worth a try at tat price. As at the date of review they are £45.99, £11.50 each, at £45.99 I’d prefer to try just one before committing to a whole box. I have given this item 3 stars as I am unsure about it effectiveness plus the price has risen significantly since I ordered it.

The difficulty in reviewing items like this is that it is VERY hard, objectively, to say if they make a difference. All you can really say is that they seem, visually, to be working! Ionic air purification isn't really cleaning or purification as such; the negative ions released simply bind to microscopic pollutants in the air, making them fall down and settle onto surfaces (so, clearly, if you never clean those surfaces, they can end up back in the air). Ionic diffusers therefore don't work in isolation, but in combination with other things - general cleaning or, in the case of larger and far more expensive units, air circulation through filters which can trap those particles permanently, and where ion emitters may be built in. They don't work with larger particles, including pollen, so don't expect miracles there; and, of course, there are so many other factors to consider. In a small, sealed room they may cause the pollutants present to precipitate out, but I'm not convinced that these small plug-ins could have a significant effect in, say, a sitting room with wide open French windows. So where does that leave this review? Well, they're small, discreet, cheap, and if you hold your hand right over the unit you can feel that the air feels cooler, which is a sign of the presence of ionisation. There's no sound that I can discern, and the amount of ozone this unit will produce (a concern of another reviewer, who rightly states that ozone in concentration is a lung irritant) will be so tiny as to have, I am sure, no negative effects; you'll get thousands times more at the beach. So I'm going to leave these plugged in around the house, as much on the basis that they can at least do no harm even if they don't do much good. I will update in a few months if I notice the night stuffiness I suffer from improves.

Die Steckerzapfen sind zu kurz für Steckdose in Germany und so muss ich drei Adapter kaufen. Nix mit einfach einstecken und los gehts. Darum nur 3 Punkte. Optik schön. Sehr leise, hoffe dass es auch was tut. Gerade heute bekommen.

ich habe schon 3 mal geschrieben!!! dass ich diese Luftreiniger nicht benutzen kann, weil es fehlen die 3 Adapter!!! und bis heute !!!! habe ich keinen Antwort bekommen!!!! das ist nicht professionell!!!!!
