Amtech S6430 Luggage Scale with 1m Tape

I bought this the day before we planned to go away for 4 weeks in order to weigh our airline luggage. The hook is badly designed and the luggage slips off if the handle is of a larger diameter. The first bag I weighed at 23kg and when I tried the 2nd back, the mechanism broke and came out of the bottom of the plastic housing. Clearly not fit for purpose. Sadly I returned from holiday after the 30 days return window so cannot now return...

These are ok but not great at the bottom end of the weight scale. Were over-reading by 1kg with a 7kg weight on it which I guess is better than the other way. Sadly not good enough for what I need.

Snapped on first use. Seller said I have to go through Amazon so I lose money sending back on packaging. Avoid

Finally got to the day before the holiday, we are weighing up the bags first one fine at just under 30lb (on this rubbish scale it came up as 32lb so it is also incorrect) and when it came to the second suitcase (just under 45lb, the scale is supposed to go up to 75lb) the base of the scale snapped and pieces went flying everywhere. Dangerous and useless. We tested it once when we got it on a 5lb item and not tried it since. Shocked really...

This product is what you pay for. Cheaply made, wasn’t put together totally right and mine arrived with a crack on the plastic dial cover.Not bad accuracy wise.Just wish it had a dial that showed max weight as this one you have to lift luggage with it and then try to read weight at the same time.

The scales are easy to use and fit for purpose

the scale is accurate, like we bought some fresh groceries and tried to measure the weight..it serves its purpose which is good enough.the handle is just metal, probably would have been better if it had some cushioning.the tape in the side would come in handy someday I guess

Ideal for luggage use it’s not scientifically accurate but as an indication it is excellent. I use mine to weigh the lpg gas bottles in my caravan since they are made of composite material and it does a very good job after I calibrated the scale to the bottles.Well recommended.
