I love collecting GRVs and using them to bang out some quick riffs and licks in order to keep my sight-reading skills in check. This book doesn't disappoint. The used copy came in near perfect quality and I'm perfectly happy with my purchases.When it comes to the quality of the book itself, that is up to debate. Most of the guitar work is accurately transcribed, but the neck positioning is sometimes very awkward. Again, nothing I can't fix with a rusty old experienced brain and live footage.

I got this book recently, and I thought I would be able to play at least one song all the way through after some practice. Man, was I wrong. These songs are even harder than those in City of Evil and have majorly fast solos, riffs and fills. If you are towards more the advanced side, this is really good and fun to learn and still a bit challenging. Intermediate players with enough experience and determination may get some out of this book like me, but it'll take months or even years to master the whole album. Still very fun to play, improves technique if you break down the hard parts little by little and makes anyone's jaw drop (especially the Afterlife solo it has 32nd triplets in it!). Definitely get it.

The book is written clearly and accurately. So far it seems to have all the necessary parts transcribed however I haven't made it through the entire book yet to confirm that with all the songs. I would recommend this book to anyone wanting to learn A7X tunes.

My son loves the music and playing the songs on his electric guitar, the book came quickly and was just what he wanted.

Have to do some small adoptions, but overall it makes playing along with the album easy. Would by again !

This is a great accompliment to the album if you are a guitarist and really want to be able to play some or all of the songs, there is a lot of persevation involved sometimes if something appears confusing but it is all worth it when you finally get that last song sorted!I think all books of this type will be confusing sometimes for people that don't really have a good background in theory (myself included). But if you keep on looking at it even when your not playing your guitar you'll figure out the rhythms and note sequences easier. (I listened the whole album in the car following through the book!) I'd reccomend that if like me you HAD to learn these songs!This is the best set of tabs for the A7X album i've seen - even with the couple of mistakes that you may want to play in a different positions like the solo to 'Scream' which is easier played over just two strings in my opinion.So this is a must for any A7X fan who appreciates the album and wants to get to grips with the guitar, it's a great thing to do in your spare time!

Amazing book. Just like your normal tablature book.It contains all the songs for the ''Self-Titled Album'' All guitars transcibed to tab. Note to note from solo to solo. Enjoy learning the killers tunes of Avenged Sevenfold.Show off thoose guitar skills!EnjoyNate

I ordered a different album to the one I got in the mail. The tab books are great anyway so I don’t really mind.

there's about four guitar tracks on most of em. Would love to know how they do it live.

Arrived within 3 days. Great book. Accurate and very detailed. Worth every penny. Just gotta keep up with Syn now :/
