A brilliant series for teaching children how to read. My children who are just learning to read, love them and the beautiful illustrations that accompany the text. Also it is nice for children to read books that are just about everyday life and things they can relate to. I would highly recommend this series to anyone who would like to teach their children to read.

These books are a great way to develop learning. My son finds these books enjoyable but letting him be more independent with stage he is at.

The best series using sight words to improve reading speed. Worked wonders for my child. Story is also not boring and engages child, some repetition of words and phrases to instil confidence jars but necessary for readers such as this.

My daughters have each taught their pre-school daughters to read using this set as a starter. My sister purchased them for her grandkids. Sure, they look old-school (I'm 60 and think they look like Dick and Jane), but they work. One of my daughters is a teacher, and she asked for the whole set.

This was read by son after 5A and he liked it. Good amount of reading and again very simplified for kids.
