What a GREAT Addition to My Go-To Protein Bars
Before trying David Protein Bars, Stars + Honey protein bars were my favorite and the only protein bars I regularly purchased. David has now given me another great option, particularly when I want something quick, convenient, and high in protein. I've tried several of the David flavors in the gold wrappers and have liked most of the flavors. The Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough is a good choice and has become one of the bars I reach for when I need something to eat but simply don't have the time for a whole-food option. One of the biggest advantages for me is the higher protein content compared with many other protein bars. I also appreciate that these don't rely on the types of sugar alcohols found in many competing bars, which can cause unpleasant gastrointestinal issues—particularly if you eat more than one in a day. That makes a noticeable difference for me. The texture and flavor are enjoyable for a high-protein bar, and I like having several flavors available so I'm not eating the same thing every time. They're convenient to keep in my bag or have readily available when my schedule gets busy. Stars + Honey hasn't necessarily lost its place in my pantry, but David Protein Bars have definitely earned a spot alongside them. With the combination of convenience, flavor, and an impressive amount of protein, these are an excellent grab-and-go option when a regular meal isn't practical. I will definitely continue purchasing them.

Best tasting protein bars out there!
These bars taste so good. To be honest, I’ve only had the chocolate chip cookie dough. But I think it is delicious! Protein/calorie ratio is amazing. Price is more than I like to pay. But they’re worth it. They’re not too hard. Some bars a like eating a brick. These are relatively soft and chewable. Quality is outstanding

Pricey but worth it
Great product! Comforting enough to feel like a snack, without all the calories. They do have the classic supplement taste, but still delicious. I like the texture too, makes them more filling than other protein bars. I’ve tried chocolate brownie and cookie dough flavors, both are nice :)

Great High Protein Bar
I've really been enjoying the David Protein Bars. The biggest selling point for me is that they pack 28 grams of protein into only 150 calories, which is impressive and makes them a great high-protein snack. The flavor is surprisingly good, and they don't have the overly artificial taste that some protein bars do. That said, the texture is a bit thick and dense, so it takes a little getting used to. I wouldn't consider these a true meal replacement because they aren't quite filling enough on their own, but they're perfect for a post-workout snack or when I need something quick to help me hit my protein goals. Overall, I'd definitely buy them again.

The Macro-Math Miracle: David Cracked the Code on Taste and Nutrition
I have consumed an exhausting amount of protein bars over the years, usually resigning myself to the "chewy brick" reality that comes with high-protein snacking, but the David High Protein Bar has completely shattered my expectations. When I first looked at the nutritional panel, I honestly thought it was a misprint. Squeezing a massive 28 grams of protein into a mere 150-calorie package without using sugar seemed mathematically impossible, yet here we are. It is genuinely rare to find a product that completely resets the standard for a category, but the nutritional profile here does exactly that. For anyone tracking macros or strictly trying to hit a high protein intake without blowing their daily calorie budget, this is the holy grail we have been waiting for. Of course, impressive numbers on a label mean absolutely nothing if the product tastes like cardboard, so I was incredibly relieved when I took my first bite of the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough flavor. It captures that nostalgic, dense, and sweet profile of actual cookie dough but manages to avoid that chemical-laden, artificial sweetener aftertaste that plagues so many sugar-free competitors. The texture is substantial and heavy in the best way possible; it feels like a serious piece of food rather than an airy, puffed crisp that leaves you hungry ten minutes later. The chocolate chips provide a fantastic textural contrast and a genuine hit of cocoa flavor that makes this feel much more like a cheat day treat than a dietary necessity. One of the biggest hurdles with high-intensity protein snacks is often digestibility, as many low-carb options can cause bloating. I am happy to report that the David bar sits very well in my stomach, likely due to the thoughtful gluten-free formulation and high-quality ingredients. I have started keeping these everywhere—in my gym bag, my car console, and my desk drawer—because they are incredibly stable and don't turn into a melted mess instantly. The satiety factor is through the roof; eating one of these curbs my hunger for hours, which is impressive given the incredibly low calorie count. It is the ultimate utility snack that doesn't force me to compromise on enjoyment. It is refreshing to see a brand prioritize pure performance without sacrificing the eating experience. Usually, in the fitness nutrition world, you have to pick two: high protein, low calorie, or good taste. This bar somehow manages to check all three boxes with absolute confidence. It has completely replaced my previous go-to snacks because the efficiency of the protein-to-calorie ratio is simply unbeaten in the current market. If you are serious about your fitness goals or just want a cleaner way to snack on something that actually tastes like cookie dough, this is an absolute game-changer.

Big Fan!
These protein bars are absolutely delicious! They have a great texture, aren’t overly sweet, and keep me feeling full between meals. I love that they’re packed with protein without tasting chalky like so many other brands. They’re perfect for a quick breakfast, post-workout snack, or when I’m on the go. I’ll definitely be buying them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a tasty, satisfying protein bar!

The King of protein bars
I honestly don't think it can get any better than David protein bars. The protein to calorie ratio is incredible: 28g protein for 150 calories, and very little sugar (sugar alcohol, per the label). What's more, the flavors are great. They are a bit more costly, but you get what you pay for. Blueberry or chocolate chip, they're both tasty and great way to add protein to your diet. I'd confidently dub these King David.

Delish and a whopping 28g of protein
I tried the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. Taste was divine and texture soft and chewy. At 150 calories it was still satisfying and tasted great, though not 100% filling. Best protein bar I ever tasted and it's packed with nutrients. I love that I can throw it in my bag, so it's convenient. I'm looking forward to trying other flavors – there's a solid variety to choose from. I'm most thrilled with the 28g of protein in one bar – incredible. What I would like to see changed, as I am mainly vegetarian, is a replacement for collagen used in the ingredients. There are plenty of plant-based substitutes
