Works great
Yes it is expensive, but it works fine and brings old phones into the 21 century. Also when I thought I had an issue, I contacted Viking, within 24 hours I had a response. Fantastic!

Great product to enable all your phones to ring when you get your home phone service from VOIP
This device will add the voltage needed to allow multiple phones to ring. I have used three different VOIP phone services and ATT's home base service that resulted in the phone not ringing or some phones would ring normally and other phones in the house would only have a short ring (and the caller id would not display long enough to read). The Viking Ring Booster solved this problem for me. Now all my phones (connected to RJ11 connections and wireless phones connect to base station) ring normally and the caller id is displayed so I can see who is calling. The product is not cheap but it solved my problem. VOIP adapters and ATT's Home Station do not put out enough voltage to allow multiple phones to ring ... the most phones I was ever able to get to ring without this adapter was 3 phones. Now I have seven phones ring normally. Well worth the price if it is important that all your phones in your home ring and you want to see who is calling you on caller id.

It works with Ooma Telo and corded phones in every room
I would have hoped for something less expensive, but it does the job.

Has a certain ring to it
Worked for my application, though seems a little pricey and doesn't support grounded ringing (didn't need that in my case). It's also has no built-in wall mounting options (used long cable ties and clips).Honestly I would've bought the "Ring Booster II" (different website) but I didn't want to wait for it to arrive (Prime to the rescue).

A must if you have multiple phones you want to work with Ooma Telo
I gave my parents an Ooma telo as a present. I set it up for them, ported their number and found that only the wireless phone would ring and have a dial tone. When I put a line splitter in and tried to connect all their wired phones through the wall jack, I only got a dial tone. No phone calls could be received. I called Oma’s customer service, which was a joke! So I did some internet sleuthing and came across the Viking RG-10A. It is super easy to install and now all the phones work. Why Ooma doesn’t let people know about this is a real shame.

If you're an Ooma owner and your phones don't ring...
I had to learn very quickly after switching to Ooma about REN which is the power level fed through the phone line by the phone companies to ring your phones. Ooma sends a very low current from their Telo to accomplish that which leaves many phones unable to ring. This product solves that problem by adding the low level electrical current needed to actually make the phones ring when someone calls. The only issue is that this device is almost twice the cost of the Ooma.. but it's only a one time cost and then all your phones in the house will ring.

Pricey, bu5 does the trick
Works well with REN 7 for a bunch of old phones.Update: early death, so it doesn’t work anymore, downgrading from 4 to 3 stars, should probably be two

Powers our 4 phones’ ringers
This was easy to install. My only issue is that we live off the grid and use solar panels and batteries and this unit uses a fair amount of the battery power at night. We had to add a timer so it only is used during daylight, leaving one phone to ring at night.
