Q: Does anyone know if this is the same as te hoosier hill farms brand. it looks like exactly the same packaging. i am trying to find the old kraft one.

Mine came in a plastic bag and did not say hoosier hill farms. It was nothing like Kraft powdered cheese.

Q: Does this make good potatoes au gratin?

I never tried it to make potatoes au gratin although it is exactly the same as you would get in a box of Kraft macaroni and cheese and tastes very good.

Q: What is the source of whey protein concentrate?

I have not used the product for a while. The whey comes from milk. It works real good on macaroni and cheese, but not so good on Broccoli and other veggies.
