Very nice professional file cabinet. Sturdy includes inside file bars. Well worth the money. I had posted a question asking if it would be brought inside my home prior to ordering as I had no way to do it myself and was told yes. So I ordered the file based on that answer. The delivery person did NOT want to bring it in, thank God I was home when it came, but a little arm wrestling and some cash greased the palm of the driver and he did bring it inside.

Excellent filing cabinets. You do need to by the upper shelf dividers separately - and they are not cheap. I paid, I believe, $150 for 20.but they are SOLID. “When they arrived I was shocked how much they weighed. Drawers are all smooth operating and it’s the type of cabinet that will hold up for a decade without anything other than minor maintenance. 👍

Hon's great, but the product was overriden by the tactics of the Seller, PLEX.I researched and researched with Amazon -- and everyone else -- before buyingthis. It's been a nightmare to deal with 3rd and 4th parties in this. NEVER AGAIN...The wonderful cabinet isn't the problem -- even though I need more equipment,I will never EVER buy again from this Seller. Do your homework or buy at yourown risk. I didn't have the chance to ask the 4th party to reposition the hangrailsor even to lift the unit up only one 8-inch step for me -- so I now have to add afew hundred dollars to the cost; therefore, I could have bought this 3-drawerdirectly from Hon or through a local office furniture company for almost thesame that this one's going to cost me. A perfect cabinet, but decide if you'd ratherkeep the stress out of your life by paying to do so instead of wrangling with 3rd --and ultimately 4th -- parties when you buy!

HON makes the absolute best filing cabinet. Made well, sturdy and will last for years. My only disappointment is that they do not come with the double rail hanging racks. These racks increase the file storage and provide front to back access to your files. They require 4 sets per file cabinet which adds approx $100 to the cost.

I received both lateral filing cabinets I ordered quickly and on-time. It was exactly what we needed. Only concern is that one of the cabinets arrived dented. The packaging was not damaged so there was nothing to indicate that the item was damaged in transit. It appears that the cabinet was damaged prior to. Thankfully the dents are not affecting the function of the cabinet and the rails are not damaged. The drawers open and lock as they are supposed to. I reached out to the seller and I received a very prompt response with a solution to the damaged item. I would buy from this seller again.

This filing cabinet is made well and fits perfect in the location I placed it. My husband built a platform with casters due to the weight of the cabinet (over 200 lbs) which would be much heavier once all of the files are placed in it. I can now move the cabinet around by myself if I need to.

was so banged up when received Makes it hard for drawers to open. would think it would be better packaged. The one side looks like a forklift hit it.
