For the owners of a GMC vehicle in this category, this book is a must! From the simplest task such as a headlight replacement, to a full engine overhaul, this manual guides you through step - by- step. Recommended highly and far superior to similar reference guides.

This is, of course, excluding OEM mechanic's manuals as found in dealership repair centers...Coming in first place, when available, are Clymer's. I think they're mainly for motorcycles (???), but they are the highest quality, most informative manuals that I have.Second place are Chilton's. And for most vehicles, it's really first place because Clymer's aren't available.Last place are Haynes. Poor quality, cheap paper, too broad and vague of instructions.I've had the Haynes for this van for quite a while and it was time to step up to quality. So I bought this Chilton's for like $5. A great buy.

Just what I was looking for.

I got this for a manual for my 1979 Tioga RV with the Chevy G30 engine. As in any Chilton guide covering a range of years and models, you have to pick out the stuff that applies to your vehicle specifically. Kind of a pain, but that's the nature of the beast.
