Poppy and Ereth (Poppy, 7)

Hi Amazon,You can't imagine how much my Grade 3 children ( 8/ 9 year olds) just adore the 4th book by Avi, Poppy and Ereth. This book was so exciting and scary and both boys and girls were so anxious as I read these last chapters as they thought that Ereth was going to die. The author's development of Ereth's character has been so exciting. As a teacher I do a lot of language work based around these fantastic books. I have bought a soft toy, porcupine and the children love taking their turns to hold Ereth as I read the book. We will start book 5 next term as we are about to go on school holidays. I would love to contact the author Avi, but am not sure how to??Regards,Catherine Australia/Tasmania

We love these stories from Avi. Hilarious with deeper social commentary hidden inside. (We also love most stories from Avi.)

I bought the Dimwood Forest series for my daughter and she loves them. I first started reading Avi's books nearly 20 years ago and I am glad that my children enjoy his books as well. His books are very easy to pick up and very hard to put down. He is a great author for all ages.

I'm an adult and I loved reading this series! Very well written and who doesn't love a mouse story! When a story is well written it is a joy to read!

I've had to read Poppy, by Avi when I was in grade school. I immediately fell in love with Poppy and Ereth, and needed to buy the whole series!

This series is fantastic, my second graders loved every book in the series. I would recommend for a read aloud starting in first grade.Great description and word choice!

I bought the whole series for my Grandson when he was almost 10 years old. Over the course of the next few months he read and thoroughly enjoyed (according to my daughter) the whole series. Seemed like it was the perfect material for his age group.

Sweet book, my 11 year old loves the series

These books are hilarious! Ereth never disappoints with his hilarious “swears” and poppy is so sweet, brave and determined. This is a book me and my kids couldn’t stop reading! The illustrations are beautifully done.
