My son gave me this as a gift to journal in and it is so beautiful. The pages are so smooth to write and sketch on that I find myself journaling more often than I used to! The craftsmanship is amazing down to each detail...the placement of the stones and the latches. It’s my favorite journal I’ve ever had and I’ve filled many!

This journal is gorgeous! And the pages do not bleed! So far I have used calligraphy pens, a fountain pen, gel pens and Sharpies in it and there has been no “feathering” at the edges or bleed through the paper. I am thrilled with my purchase! And the price is great, too. 😀

First thing to know is what ever was used to dye the cover comes off when moisture is applied. I fell like that is a huge oversight and could easily have been avoided by coating it with a sealant. There may also be some bleed through from the dye. Second thing to note is that it is very floppy. I was under the impression that it was more like a sturdy book rather than something malleable like a sketchbook. This was easy to rectify. If you were to add a thin and strong material to the very back it will help hold its shape. I’m currently using cardboard but plan to swap that out with something that will last longer. Lastly since the item is handmade the item may have some faults. In my case it was the binding. It would appear that too much tension was applied while binding the pages causing the cord to cut into the leather. That being said the pages are still secure and I do not see any signs of them falling out. All things considered I really do like this book. All the things I had pointed out give it a unique feel to it. The only real issue is the dye. I feel like I can recommend this product, but maybe be prepared to seal it before you use it.

I am so happy I bought this! The leather is soft and pliable, making it easy to write/draw in the book. The paper is like parchment, giving it an old-world look and feel. It’s really beautiful!

There is paint on it and the latch doesn't work right. The"stones" look like they are plastic. It is very poorly made. I would have returned it but didn't have time. I would not buy again.

Totally not what I expected from the written description.

If you are considering this book because of the chakra stones DO NOT waste your energy as they will leave you feeling unbalanced. They are not as depicted and while quite nice stones are not representative of the chakra colors. I read previous reviews to this effect and ordered anyway in hopes that they had corrected the issue. I sent a note to the seller and am returning my book.If you are considering this book because of it's beauty, go ahead and order. It is beautiful.

The journal is wonderfully made and the price is very reasonable.Communication with the seller was also smooth.

First of all, let me say I never expected the journal to be the size it turned out to be!! This thing is the 3x bigger than I had imagined so that also means the detail, dedication and craftsmanship of this product was ALSO x3 (more like x10) anything I had imagined!! I am extremely happy with this.. I will DEFINITELY be back!! Listen, your team is absolutely phenomenal and should never stop doing what you do! Because of you now I can start my Book of Shadows over from scratch in the most fabulous way possible!! ALSO I GOT A FREE SMALLER SIZED HANDMADE JOURNAL INCLUDED!!! WOW What a surprise!! I am in awe and feeling deep gratitude and appreciation for your team and A HUGE SHOUT OUT TO RAM I LOVE YOU YOU CREATIVE SOUL!!!

This book arrived earlier than expected and when I opened it, it was incredible! The stones are great! From the top I have: a clear-ish, pinkish quartz, a tiger's eye, an amethyst, a lapis lazuli with gold flecks, a bright deep orange stone(carnelian?), a turquoise and a beautiful green malachite. All of them were real stones, none of them were "painted". I have no complaints. The leather binding is beautiful and the closing clasps in perfect working order. The inside is comprised of 5 individually bound leaf booklets and the paper is thick and lush. This book exceeds any expectation that I had and at a fantastic price point. My book was handcrafted by Ram and members of his clan. Brilliant work, thank-you Ram et Al.

I enjoy this book. I've only marked on the first 2 pages, because I'm savouring it. The pages are thick, and my fountain pens don't bleed through. The book is big in dimension, with lots of pages. The cover and the decorative stones are pretty, but it's the latches for me. The little mechanical slider mechanisms are so satisfying. The inside of the cover is textutized, and feels rustic. I can imagine my grandchildren eyes widening someday as I share with them the secrets I'll bury in this book.

I would not recommend this product. All this dye is coming off... :( I would not recommend this product.
