Koss Portapro Wireless Bluetooth Portable

Bought these for use when out and about to avoid the Cyberman look you get with most modern style headphones, wasn't expecting a lot from them but astonished at how good they sound. Very lightweight, but the sound is full, rich and well balanced. Better than some headphones that cost twice as much. Bonus - they do aptx, so paired up nicely with my Sony phone and give better quality yet again! If you have 80 quid to spend on a pair of wireless headphones, these are the ones to have. They come with a handy carry case, in fact the only issue is one that is the same with all open type headphones, others around you may be disturbed if you rock out at high volumes, but then they're only jealous because they don't have a pair.

I love these bluetooth portapros, they have the same featherweight comfy fit and decent sound quality as the originals but give me the freedom to move around without being tied to my device by an annoying cable. There is a good reason Koss have made portapros continuously since the 80's and this just reinforces the good stuff. I don't like the flashing blue light so will make a cover for when I use them in the dark. I like the open nature of these phones so I can hear people around me, but some won't like it.

I used to have a few pairs of the wired version and they all broke for the same reason - too sensitive cable. The wireless version reduces this problem but doesn't eliminate it entirely since we have the cable hanging around the neck. I guess if they wanted to embed it in the headband they would have to redesign the whole headset which would maybe impact the sound and the sound is what makes it the best sounding headphones for that price (£80). Very nice bass but not overwhelming the middle and higher tones which are clear through the whole spectrum. Very loud and no matter how loud they are, the sound is never distorted. Very light and firm on the head. I can skate with them and never feel like they're falling. Also blue-tooth connection is really good as the songs don't skip. Overall very good purchase and if it wasn't for the cable I would give 5 stars.

battery is much better than those tiny ones like airpods or samsung buds and sound quality is really well above those, i use it before sleeping most of the time in the bedroom which is not noisy so lack of noise cancellation is alright mostly im using the sony wh 1000 xm5 , and in non noisy environment the Koss is nicer sounding, but of course commuting, airplane, office the sony is hard to beat with the insane noise cancellation and 40 hours batery life

I have been looking for the right headphones for such a long time and finally - here it is. The winner is Portapro Wireless by Koss. The sound is amazing. Very natural - unlike all the closed headphones. It's going to take a little time to get used to the unusual form factor but they are lightweight, they sit well on my ears and they feel comfortable. Very happy with the purchase.

I saw these headphones online and thought they were exactly what I wanted. I tried them on and the sound was amazing, I must say. Unfortunately as soon as I put my iPhone XS in my pocket, the music started skipping. I can't believe that they haven't sorted this out, I have a £30 pair of Sony's that have a vastly superior bluetooth range. Very disappointing and they need to go back but PLEASE bring out an update! I would buy them in a heartbeat.

From reading mixed reviews, I bought these cautiously. However I'm pleased to say the head phones are exactly what I wanted! I wear these for running and they don't slip, have great battery and a great sound quality. Yes the wire is a bit long, but I've put a black hair band around to secure this at the back of my head. I get the odd crackle from the connection if the hair band is too tight, but that's easily fixed. All in all, very pleased I bought and would recommend.

I loved them while they were working. I bought yhrm on 13th August and used them a lot for travel and in the office but they only lasted until December of the same year. Now they simply won't charge. I even tried to fix them by buying new 3.7v battery and soldering it on as I suspected that the PCM on the old one might have died but no luck still won't charge wnd I have no idea why as I they have always been take good care of, plugged in to charge without any tugging or pulling on port or cable. Its such as shame because these headphones really are very good - sound quality and comfort wise but the buid quality is just so damn poor. Huge shame.
