There is something wrong with Amazon carrying a product that is apparently available from a number of sellers when it turns out they are not actually selling the same thing. I originally bought this item from Lighthouse Bulbs and it was perfect; slipped over they wire easily and had exactly the flexibility I would expect.When I needed to get some more I ordered from at1cadmen because it was a few pence cheaper and it's the exact same product, right?Wrong. The second lot was much thinner than the first lot. You really have to thread the wire into it instead of just slipping it in, and because it is narrower it is stiffer.To be fair, the narrower stuff does measure 3mm as advertised; the thicker stuff is 4mm, so at the end of the day no one knows what they will be getting - it all depends on the supplier.OK, it's not the greatest tragedy in the world; we are only talking about a bit of loose change here, but still it is disappointing.By the way, I see the prices have now flip-flopped and the better one is (today) the cheaper one!
