These base layer undergarments are decent buy. The warmth is good for under clothing since they are not really too thick. I have only just bought them last month so I am unable to determine the durability as of yet. I have washed them twice according to wool products to preserve their longevity. I believe they will last. I am 5 ft 1 in and 105 lbs and I purchased a medium since I rather have a loose fit on my body and these are just that, looser than too restrictive. I was happily surprised to receive a beanie hat that I am using overnight to stay warmer and a pair of token socks as well for buying there products. I was happily surprised and like the material and color. They are not scratchy or harsh. I recommend these to anyone living in the colder areas in this world.

This was an awesome deal! I already owned one of these shirts which has served me well through trips to Alaska, and various hiking and travels all around the country. It is my go-to base layer. It looks nice on its own, and absolutely serves its purpose under any type of clothing. It keeps me warm when it’s cold and nice and cool when it’s warmer. The best part is that because of its wool qualities it stays in great shape even between washes! I wore it several different days during a cross country road trip and after setting it out at bedtime, by the next morning it was fresh as new! That is my favorite quality about merino wool! It is soft and not itchy, trim and not bulky, and keeps me warm while still being breathable and never too hot. I am such a fan of this brand and will probably buy even more so I can wear them more on the daily (instead of just as cold weather/hiking/traveling wear). I definitely needed to get another one so I bought this set because what a deal to get not only the shirt and pants but also the hat and socks! All set now! I will note that these do run a bit large. I am usually around a M/L in size, after reading the comments when I bought my first shirt I bought a M and it fit great! It was fitted with a bit of room to spare. When I bought this set, seeing as it comes with bottoms (I am a true L in bottoms) I bought L this time to try it out. It was a bit baggy and quite roomy. Would make for great pajamas! Maybe a little too loose for base layers or on their own. If I were to buy another pair of these I would def size down again and get M for both top and bottom. Overall, I am so happy with this brand and highly recommend!

I live in the Colorado mountains and it can get pretty cold. -25F with the wind chill factor is the most extreme. But frequently 15-20. I purchased 2 of the base layer shirts for a Winter trip to Finland and I was very impressed. I was warm without being hot. I was looking at the base pants to wear with the tops I already owned and saw this set which was a great deal. These base layer items are very well made. They are attractive and I have worn the shirt out and about without feeling like I was wearing underwear out in public. The seams are stitched flat and don’t rub or cause irritation. I’m 5’4”, 115 lbs, 29” inseam, 27” waist , 38” hips. I purchased a M because I don’t like anything too tight around my waist. The M fits me well. Not too tight but not too bulky. The socks are not hiking socks. They are warm but they aren’t ‘tough’. They are great for in snow boots but they will wear if you’re expecting to do some serious hiking in them. If you have someone that goes out in the cold or even someone who feels cold all the time these would be a great gift that would really be appreciated. Or buy them for yourself. You won’t be disappointed.

Very happy with the weight, quality, fit, and softness of this set. The bonus hat and socks are great, too! I haven't tried out the socks but the hat is super cute. All looks just like the photo. If you want to be cozy warm on those cold days, get it! Highly recommended.

A little itchy at first but I washed them and they are alot softer. The fit is perfect I'm 5'1 and about 118 lbs and got the XS. The color of the blue is very nice. They seem very strong and durable. I don't think they are too thin at all. Perfect for layer which is what they are for. No issues with the waist band being too thin or like a noose.

I can't believe I went my whole life without a merino wool base layer. These are game changers for this teacher. They are super cozy and thin enough to wear under my skirts and dresses. I stay warm, and I can still look professional. I have already purchased a second set.

Fits perfect, feels great, keeps you warm while wicking away sweat even on the coldest day in the US snowshoeing or looking for the Northern Lights in Iceland. The base layer is lightweight and thin enough for layering. Great value for the money.

I live in this base layer whenever we travel to frigid places for winter. So cozy and practical that I had to buy another set. Great at keeping you warm and regulating temperature. I wore it under clothes for a long travel day when I knew we would go straight from a long flight to outdoor adventure in 20 F degree weather with little time to change.

This base layer is awesome. I bought the 250 midweight and wore it as is under my snow pants and jacket in sub-zero and I was warm. I will definitely buy the 320 for the colder temps. My only complaint is that I bought the set in size Small, but the included socks were size Medium and the beanie is a size Lg/Xl which doesn't make a whole lot of sense as they are both miles too big. **upgrade to 5 stars. I have now purchased 2 sets of 250 and 2 set of 320. Over the moon happy with them. They wash well, and get softer (that initial minor itch goes away completely). I have never slept better...the body temperature regulation is amazing. I also got the proper size beanie with the second set in navy.

Einfach tolle Ware und super Abwicklung. Die Verarbeitung der Merinowolle ist hervorragend; superweich, wirklich temperaturregulierend, immer angenehm auf der Haut mit exzellenter Paßform. Ich habe mittlerweile 6 Sets; nutze sie im Winter auch als Schlafanzug. Möchte nichts mehr anderes tragen!

Guter Stoff, schön warm. Nach 2 mal Waschen alles okay. Sehr angenehm auf der Haut.
