All were fresh and delicious. Great gift for a diabetic. He also really liked the tray and made more plans for it after he was finished eating them.

Recipient said that he loved this and skipped ALL meals except for snacking on this all day! Ha ha! I was so happy to hear that he loved them (not that it is the healthiest thing to only eat these nuts for the whole day). But it gave me a laugh on the phone when he called, and he's a very healthy man. I must have recieved a box that had been on the shelf for a while. Nuts were stale. some of the macaqdamias had a rancid taste. I could not find an expiraation date on the package. The wooden tray fell apart soon after opening. It apparently was not proberly assembled, there was no trace of glue. Managed to save most of the contents in a bowl. I do not recommend this product.

I gifted these and they were a big hit. We have since re-ordered.

I so wanted to like this item! I love nuts and the presentation of the nuts, plus having a nice little reusable wooden box when done very much appealed to the recycler in me. However, let's face it...we want some nuts! Fresh, tasty, protein rich; great snacking, edible - NUTS. Unfortunately, none of these qualities were evident in these nuts. They were rancid when received! When I opened them up, immediately the smell of rancid oil wafted up to great me, instead of deliciousness! Alas, an unusable, yet also unreturnable item. I tried sampling some of them; but, the nose, knows. I was sick for 2 days. If your going to sell food on the internet, you need to stand behind it, like any other product. I know it can't be returned, but it can be replaced. If your going to continue to sell items such as this, please Date and Timestamp as an Edible Item -with a Sell by Date, on internet and the package descriptions Also, a minimum and maximum temperature should be established to safely maintain freshness. That includes ²determining the time and temperature inside the warehouse, delivery vehicle, and mailing receptacle; if item is not delivered directly to a home address (like when USPS is used). This was a costly item compared to picking some up at the grocery store or drugstore. I expected better.If this item is not replaced: I promise you, I will not be purchasing anymore perishables through Amazon. I purchase a lot, all throughout the year. I'd like to be able to depend on you, but the also very expensive Biscotti cookies I ordered along with the nuts, just didn't taste good either. Not to the degree of being rancid, but definitely not good. Here, i would suggest giving the item's ingredients under the project description online. Sometimes, one can read the label in the item photo, but not always. This is relevant to health issues as well as taste. Biscotti without Annise seed in it, just isnt Biscotti. None of the cookies in the other packages had this flavoring in them, ergo very dissapointing for me. I'll take responsibility on this one, because even though I don't like their flavor, I wouldn't call them rancid. However, listing all ingredients could help allivate this issue too. Something is throwing the flavor off, but it may just be their recipe or execution. Don't mean to denigrate their baking skills, but are there no Noone brand available?
