pretty good for the price
Got these cameras in earlier this week paired with the solar panels cause batteries are expensive. Very easy to set up and plenty of customization options. These images are stills screen shotted from video. I apologize I don't remember what setting, but I believe it is the max resolution. I have the sensitivity on medium. As you can see the images are clear even though the subject deer were moving. I did not have a single blank recording or hind end of a deer in any of the videos. Note the night video has tree cover and still the deer can be seen clearly even with the washout for the leaves. The solar panel seems to be getting enough sunlight to keep the batteries charged also. The daytime picture is also a still from video and is also in a semi shaded area. I usually have some bucks, but maybe this camera makes more noise than my others because all I caught was a spike in the two days the cameras were up. Overall I am impressed enough with these that I am buying four more to replace other old worn out cameras. If you're like me and dont NEED the cell cameras I say go ahead and get these. They seem to be good quality and are way cheaper (except the solar panels make them a bit pricey - then again you're saving on batteries.) If things go sideways in the next month or so I will adjust this review. I forgot the mention that one of the biggest selling points of this camera for me anyway is that it can take a huge sd card instead of a rinky dink 32 max!

Great Camera for the price
I was looking for a no glow IR camera that was invisible to the human eye and found this camera after quite a bit of research. Most of the no glow cameras were twice or three times as much so I was a bit apprehensive. But, after some testing I'm very happy with it. I set it up beside another proven camera and it triggered every time. Most images were center frame. Pros: 1) The price is great. 2) The audio was excellent! Way beyond any of my other cameras and even distant or low volume sounds were captured by the camera. 3) Exposure is adjustable for different locations and will auto adjust mid video if necessary. Medium setting seems to work the best for me so far. 4)LED's invisible to the human eye. This camera is totally undetectable at night. No red glow visible at all. 5) Clear night time photos and video. 6) I like that it uses full size SD cards so I'm not fumbling around with a tiny micro card in the woods. I will say that it needs a pretty fast SD card though. I used a class 10 card first and noticed some stutter in the audio. I switched to a faster A2 card and no more problems. I think many of the negative reviews are from people who are using slower or incompatible cards. If you are getting partial photos or weird video/audio artifacts switch to a quality card with a transfer speed over 30mb like a U3, V30 or faster if you plan to do a lot of video. Sandisk has never let me down. Just because a card works in one make of camera doesn't mean it'll work in all of them. Cons: 1) Bit rate of the video reveals it is on par with 1280x720p even though the video settings allow for 1920x1080p video. Not uncommon but disappointing. In all fairness, the description says 1296p not 1920p (though it lists 1920x1080p setting in the description) It is typical for a camera in this price range and not a deal breaker. 2) My biggest gripe seems like the most trivial but it is the on/off switch. Every other camera has "off" all the way left and "on" all the way right. "Settings" is in the center position. They are easy to turn on and off with gloves because you can just push it all the way over. THIS camera has "On" in the center position, which means I'm going to have to remove gloves and be careful to only slide the switch one click every time I turn it on. That is going to be irritating every time I check the camera.

Trail Cameras
This 2 pack waterproof trail camera is awesome. I use these for deer hunting and they work great. The video and picture quality is very good, I'm not expecting movie theater quality here. I just want relative good quality photos and videos to identify wild animals on public property. I paired the cameras with 64GB memory cards and it is more than enough space to record movement. Night vision is also pretty impressive and works well enough to get video confirmation on legal animals to hunt. My only complaint is the size of the clips to secure the camera to a tree/post are very small. A belt style lock will work fine, but not enough room to fit a small size cable to secure the camera on public land. REQUIRES 8 x AA batteries

better than expected
this is the 4th one I have bought works perfect, daytime photos and videos are sharp and clear, nighttime is black and white and quality is acceptable considering its dark, easy to set up and customize timing and file size, catches all the wildlife running around especially at night. bought 64 gig cards so even after 3 months there is still lot of room on the cards, its interesting to see whats running around on your property when you are not home, we have 5 acres so that is why I have 4 of them. not cellular I did not want to have all of the data send to my phone all the time. check them every couple of months, batteries last a long time, after years still on the original set

GardePro Buckle Enhancement.
I am happy with the GardePro A3S. It performs well. However, I find the strap very inconvenient when I remove and reinstall the camera. If you are handy you can easily add a buckle as I did to make removal and replacement much easier--you can just pop it off and back on w/o readjusting if using at the same spot. While I was at it I replaced the strap with a more heavy duty one. You can find strap and buckle kits on Amazon. I wish the manufacturer would offer this feature.

Fantastic Service. & Great Pictures
I bought this about a year ago and it worked beautifully. I used it to track critters going under my house and it helped me figure out what to do about them. Pictures night and day were clear, focused and crisp. At one point I had it running for 6 weeks and it took pictures every day the entire time. Then, one day I went to use it and it didn't work. No menu, no response, nothing but a white screen. I sent a note and pictures of the screen to GardePro asking for assistance. The next day I got an email asking for my address, phone, etc. so they could send me a replacement. Later that day I got a notice that it had been shipped. got it three days later. I have never had such great service from any on-line vendor in the past 20 years. Could not ask for more - beautiful images and incredible service. You cannot go wrong!

In service for a month w/o a single usable photo or video on a very active game trail.
We have several very active game trails on our rural property so I thought I would place a camera at the two most used trails to see who was around. Hoping to get some better footage of our nocturnal neighbors. I purchased this GardePro trail cam for the main trail head. First attempt: I placed the GardePro trail camera at the head of the main trail focused on the spot where the most activity seems to happen - and my older camera at one of the side trails. I read the GardePro manual for set up and formatted the SD card as it said to. When I set it up at the trailhead, I adjusted for motion capture as instructed. Then I set the camera to on and left it for a week. The picture posted is the clearest picture I was able to retrieve. All the other photos and video were greyed out. I spent two hours trying to recover the data to no avail. Perhaps I didn't retrieve the data properly? I read through the manual again to set the camera up, and placed it back at the main trailhead. Second attempt: After a week, I went to retrieve the SD cards. This time, I took the camera down and brought it back to the cabin so I could plug it directly to my computer and retrieve the photos that way. The older camera had indeed captured some activity, but the GardePro camera didn't capture anything at all. Save for the few photos of me checking the motion capture, the SD card was empty. I reread the user manual and walked myself through setup again to make sure I'd done everything correctly. (I had) But perhaps I was wrong about which trail was being used? Maybe it didn't see anything because there wasn't aynthing to see? So I switched the cameras, this time setting the GardePro camera on the lesser side trail. Adjusted for motion capture, made sure everything was good to go and left. Third attempt: After 5 days I was back out to the property to check the cards. The older camera, which had been monitoring what I still thought of as the main trail head, has lots of photos! Opossum, otter, beaver and that weird coyote dog the neighbor said she saw. I wasn't wrong about the activity level at the main trail head. There really *were* a lot of visitors. I checked the GardePro camera on the smaller trail but once again the SD card was empty. The GardePro took no additional photos or video. But, was it possible that the lack of pictures was because I'd set it on an unused trail? I had proof that the main trail was being used a lot. So if I set the GardePro camera back on the main trail head (and it works) it should record something almost every night. I RE-reread the manual. RE-reset to factory settings, RE-reformatted the SD card. And even thought the camera turned on ok, and the indicator icon on screen said that the batteries were full, I put in fresh batteries just to be sure. When I set it back on the main trail, I focused the camera where I knew there would be movement to capture. I checked for motion capture and made sure everything worked fine before I left. Results: After a week, I returned to the trailhead to find it is a mess of scent piles, and piled up twigs/leaves. The soil on either side of the trail is freshly tamped down. If the GardePro camera works as it should, it should have captured something. But once more, the SD card was empty. The GardePro camera didn't capture anything -even though the physical evidence shows a significant amount of activity took place 8 ft in front of the lens. I have exhausted my troubleshooting resources. This GardePro camera just doesn't work. Now I've just returned from the property to discover that it is one month and ONE DAY after purchase and I can no longer return this item. I am super irritated at having wasted my time and money on this useless product and even more irritated that I've apparently missed a boss fight episode of Game Trail Showdown. I going back to my old camera.

GardePro A3S Trail Camera/GardePro SP350 Solar Panel 3.5w
This Trail Camera is easy to setup. Takes great pictures and videos at night and daytime. I used quite a few batteries when I first purchased it, because I have been getting over 300 videos a day/night. To solve that problem I purchased a GardePro SP350 Solar Panel for my GardePro A3S Trail Camera. NOTE: The DC plug diameter on the solar panel does not fit through the housing on the bottom of the S3A Trail Camera. I had to trim the hole a little bit to get it to fit. Other than that both products work great. I would recommend this setup.

Best for your buck
This is by far the best trail cam I've bought. And I'm happy I bought two. - Great video - best audio witch came as a bonus surprise to me - batteries last for what seems forever - never fails on the date, time, temperature stamps I purchased the two in December 2024. June 2025 one of the cams stopped working. After inspection I discovered that water had penetrated it burning out some of the electronics. I emailed Garde Pro about my situation and they replaced the camera free of charge. All they needed was proof of purchase. They delivered it promptly as well. Now I am back to my two camera set up. Garde Pro has proven to me to be a class company to deal with along with a fantastic product. Thanks Garde Pro for keeping this customer very satisfied.

Decent trail camera; some minor caveats
Works quite well, night vision is good too. I find the reaction time a little slow (at least in video mode) when an animal is moving at a decent pace and the framing is tight. Overall solid value; I’m still on my first set of rechargeable 8x AA’s and it’s been 2 months. Like all Amazon trail cams, take a look at the specs. You get 1080p/30fps out of this camera, but the higher resolution brings a lower frame rate. A 30 second 1080/30p video is about 30MB or less, so only a bit rate of about 8mbps. I think you’ll run into this with any random capital letter brand here on Amazon when you’re not paying several hundred bucks. I’d hazard the megapixels are interpolated as well; not that you need 64mb trail camera photos anyway. Edit: This thing is great on battery; lasts for months. I use it only on video mode; it’s pretty good for the price. I find it misses some fast moving animals, or catches them late.

This is a very good camera
This is a good camera. Had it for about a year and it’s going strong. I’ve had purty much all the popular brands of trail cams and this is definetly better than some of the 3 to 400.00 ones. Mine run year round outside in -30c to +30c and no issues at all. I use lithium battery’s and this camera is still on the original set with over a thousand pictures. Highly recommend these products before they raise the prices.
