This is a great camera.

Fabulous budget PTZ, but it's only good if you're already using ubiquiti kit, or you're willing to invest in it. I've connected mine along with a G5 dome to my dream machine pro via a POE switch. Very impressed with the PTZ functions, however, the person tracking lags a bit and is easily fooled by high contrast lighting, it will not detect a person walking in bright sunlight if you've also got significant shadow in the scene. Last but not least, it's quite fiddly to fit, especially if mounting on a wall at height, the angle the cable goes in at is quite sharp, so thinner cable is better than the double shielded CAT6 that I used.

A very good camera, survived a very heavy rain and wind in Spain , stayed connected. It was a good addition to my home ubiquity internet system. The assembly was easy and the picture quality is good.

The Ubiquiti G5 PTZ delivers excellent image quality and a very smooth pan/tilt/zoom experience. Setup through UniFi Protect was quick — it automatically appeared and integrated right into the dashboard. The 4K sensor captures impressive detail even when zoomed in, and the night vision is sharp with good contrast. The motorized movement is quiet and responsive, and I appreciate how fluid the tracking feels. Like most UniFi gear, it’s meant to stay inside the UniFi ecosystem, so it won’t integrate with third-party NVRs, but that’s expected. If you’re already running UniFi Protect, this is a top-tier PTZ camera that makes monitoring larger areas effortless.

Very happy. Three mounting options, all hardware included including waterproofing membrane for plug. PTZ very responsive and (I don't say this often) a very good-looking design. Yes, it's dear but the quality and the AI abilities are both excellent.
