The Echo Show 21 is a Worthy Investment
Just added the Echo Show 21 to my smart home; not as a hub, but as a personal device with Fire TV for my office. I'm an avid music and movie buff. We have several other echo devices throughout our home. Therefore, I can escape to my office which is off limits to others (smile) even though I have a complete media room with Dolby Atmos. I opted for the compatible stand versus wall mounting. It's fits perfectly on a cabinet next to my desk. The HD screen resolution is clear and crisp and complements the FireTV for movies. Luckily, my office layout allows for ambient light to the rear of the Echo Show 21; so glare is not an issue with its highly reflective screen. The stereo speakers (high, mid and low) are surprisingly good for an enclosure of its size. I was able to purchase the Echo Sub from another source; as it's not available on Amazon which is strange? The sub increased the low end and allowed the internal speakers to focus on mids and highs. The listening experience for music was greatly improved. However, with or without the sub IMO you won't be disappointed.The included remote is a nice addition. Its minimalist design is simple and straight forward. Most will have no difficulty in mastering its functions.Setup of both the Echo Show 21 and Echo Sub was for the most part was straight forward. As I'm a Prime member the Echo Show 21 found my account and joined my network with no intervention by me. Although the Echo Sub powered up and found my network as well; a reboot was required of both devcies to get them in sync. After the reboot all was well.I can control all my smart devices such as speakers (including non-echo like Sonos), lights, TV's and ADT security system. Adding apps and connecting to my accounts such as AppleMusic, Tidal, Paramount and others is easy. Having the ability to view all my security cameras at once is an extra plus! 5 Stars as it does what it's designed to do. A lesser rating would be personal nit-picking. Least I forget; the Echo Show 21 and Echo Sub were both well packaged.Therefore, all said I would highly recommend the Echo Show 21 for those wanting a smart hub or personal device (like me) for music and movies. BTW…get the Echo Sub if you can. It makes for a complete audio package that sounds better than most bargain priced smart TV’s.

“Alexa, show me our appointments for the day!”
Ordered the 21” but after checking the size of my side table cancelled the original order and ordered the 15” size. It is perfect. I have Echo Show units in each room, so I SHOULD know all I need to, right? Nope! Bought this primarily for the calendar/agenda features to keep up with our many doctor's appointments. I currently use the Simple Cal app on my iPad. Took me a while to realize that it does not sync to Alexa, so I have to double enter my appointments, once in Simple Cal, and then in Alexa. Yes, I COULD just use Alexa, or, I could just tell her to enter the appointments. I COULD, but probably won’t, so I didn’t count off a star for my own idiosyncrasies.My husband is dealing with the beginnings of Alzheimer’s, so the calendar function allows him to either look, or ask Alexa to tell him what our appointment are for the day/week. I also got this to show him our pictures, family, vacations, etc. The unit does work very well for that, and he enjoys the reminiscing.

Omg we love our Echo Show 15
Omg we love our Echo Show 15 so much. We never had an Echo so I cannot compare it to previous models but this works like a dream for us. Great quality, brightness fantastic, plays music, and we can watch shows. We keep it in our kitchen so we can be entertained while cooking and hanging out. We have to manage many different school and activity schedules for our kids and Alexa helps with that. We were even able to upload our family vacation photos to display which we love. Our kids love talking to Alexa, asking questions and she’s always responsive. We are a Disney family so we configured Hey Disney and works beautifully. Cannot wait to get more Echo Shows for our other rooms in the house! We bought a swivel stand and did not mount it to the wall and it’s perfect.

Love this product!
I am an avid Amazon Product user and the Amazon Echo Show 15 is a great product! There is so much that this product can do but I'll hit the highlights for us! We bought 2 to help us with our business and home needs. The interconnectivity with our Camera system was and is really good and easy to set up. We utilize reminders for our older children for medications and bathroom reminders for our children with autism. The calendar syncs easily with google calendar so when I add a meeting through email or just kids appointment through the google calendar on my iPhone it shows up on the calendar on the Echo Show 15. You can add notes to your Echo Show 15 through the Alexa app on your phone. My husband keeps an Echo Show 15 in his home office. He likes that we can program Alexa to read out the calendar schedule for the next day at a set time each night and he especially loves the ability to watch shows on the available streaming apps. We also have all of our lights programmed to the Alexa show and can have select lights turned off and on at set times which is super helpful when trying to keep a routine for our autistic kiddos!
