Mainly cause I am lazy but this is put together simply and includes the tools for making the cleaning part quick and lazy/efficient.- the product is ONLY AS GOOD as the COMPANY THAT SELLS IT. I had an issue with my original purchase. Amazingly the seller actually contacted me! r Problem was replaced and rectified way faster then expected. Wish more sellers had this kind of customer response. Definitely would buy again from this seller no matter the product.- my original review -Worked perfectly the first time. After cleaning, realized the trigger peace was making a weird noise then noticed all the springs had fallen around loose inside the gun peace. Had high hopes after first use worked excellent and makde great jerky. Was 4 days after return date before I got to use it which sadly makes return hard.

Arrived on time, easy to clean and I like that it came with a large assortment of brushes to clean it with. It does take a little practice to get the recipe right, I usually thin slice meat for jerky, but decided to try my hand at ground jerky. You have to keep the amount of liquid low (5 tablespoons of liquid per pound is my max). I have found the grind of the meat also plays a part in the operation of the Jerky Gun. The twin nozzle works well with fine ground meats, but a courser grind gets stuck some. But the larger single nozzle works great with either of them. I usually wait 24 hours between mixing my jerky meat to when I dry it, so the meat sits in the refrigerator. I pull it out 20-30mins before I'm ready to use it as I think it helps it flow through the gun more uniformly.
