I feel borderline deaf to my own voice and I don’t know how loud I am because the material blocks so much outside noise 😂

I bought these as I had purchased a Turtle Beach Stealth 600 stealth gen 2 headset but because of my big ears and head plus the odd shape of the standard earpads it didn't sit right. Because these are oval and are a larger the headset is a dream to use. I bought the velour which are very plush and soft.

Update (5 months after use): Stitching between pad and velour material is not the best so it has slightly become loose and you can see the sponge inside.Fits on an ATH-M40x, but it took some effort to do so.It's soft and light so you won't feel strained after hours of use.Importantly, especially for those with allergies, the material did not give me any rashes compared to cheaper protein leather pads.Compared to the stock pads, which were noise cancelling, these ones are not - you get some sound leaking out, probably because of the sponge material used. So, I was a little disappointed to find this out.Lastly, I feel that the bass was weaker with these pads than the stock pads as they are thicker, though I am not an audiophile to evidently confirm this.

Honestly, if your thinking of upgrading or replacing your ear pads on your headset get a set of these! I went for the premium hybrids, quality is superb and the memory foam is incredibly comfortable!Can be a-little fiddly putting them on, but if you watch the YouTube guide you will have no issues at all!

Got these for a set of HyperX Cloud Alphas that the leatherette was coming off and these are a big improvement.They are about twice as thick as the standard pad so unless you've got ears like taxi doors you shouldn't be touching the inner felt.They feel a lot comfier with the velour pad on the inside that I ordered and do sit on the head better than when the headphones were new.Took a bit of persuading to get on, I found it a lot easier to just remove the earpiece from the headband ( 2 small star screws ) that way I could ge a proper grip of the earpiece to stretch the pad over, I will say don't be shy about stretching it though, it does take a bit of effort but it's well worth it.Many thanks to AHG for the nice product, thoroughly recommended.

Lovely feeling, these. They've got the soft leather feel on the outside but some sort of mesh fibre on the parts that touch your head. They were a bit scary to put on (felt like I might tear them) but once on they fit my headset (An Artcis 7) perfectly.

Headphones AKG 550 (studio reference).The original pads on my headphones flaked away and disintegrated. I thought, what a shame as they sounded so good, I didn't realise that pads could be replaced, but investigated and found a few on Amazon.I opted for these because of the good reviews and the described quality. I found it difficult to put them on the phones, but the wife did it with success.I was pleased with the comfort and the cosy seal around the ears...now for the most important detail - the sound.The phones themselves have excellent sound, and as far as I'm concerned there is no loss in quality from the original pads - if anything, they may even sound a bit better!Five stars from me too then, great to have my studio reference phones back on my ears.
