Oddly enough, I had a recent meltdown of sorts looking at that cabinet we all have that somehow becomes a chaotic mess of random containers and twice as many lids, none of which fit any of the containers. I declared that I would throw them all out and replace them one last time with nice ones, and if they start to get wonky, then I will start kicking everyone out but the dogs! Within a day, I was offered these, and I snatched them with enthusiasm! They shipped quickly and are as impressive as they sound. If I could afford it, I would fill the cupboard with nothing but these, also... these would make an amazing gift! They are not cheap, but they do go on sale. Grab them! The glass is thick and very durable. These are refrigerator and freezer-safe. The glass part of the containers is oven-safe, and both containers and lids are dishwasher-safe. The lid is a special kind of plastic, durable with a silicone lining that prevents leaks, and each has the connection for the vacuum seal, which also allows you to dial mark the date that you packed it to store.The vacuum sealer that comes with it is easy to use due to the indicators and protections in place to ensure it does the job without becoming damaged or damaging the container. Plus, it is rechargeable. You want these.Excellent quality, easy to store, easy to use.

I'm not sure how we've gotten along without these, and I honestly can't recommend them enough.These full glass containers (thick glass, at that!) are sturdy, oven-safe, microwave-safe, and freezer-safe, making them far more versatile than plastic. But the magic is in the vacuum pump, which quickly removes air, creating a tight seal that keeps food fresh for much longer than a normal container might. The pump shuts off automatically when done. I only wish there were some kind of battery life display on it, but that's really a nitpick.I’ve tested it on everything from meal-prepped lunches to marinated meats, and even guacamole. The lids have an adjustable date tracker, which is great for keeping track of leftovers, and the detachable vacuum compartment stops liquid from overflowing. This is awesome because I really like to marinate chicken, and this can become a problem. The stackable design is another plus.The black-on-black date dial is a little tricky to read, but again, that’s nitpicking.This set is high value and absolutely worth every penny.

The seal is real nice and solid. It does take a little while to get the seal complete but works great.
