Base Protection B0610 Climb Safety Shoe Brown/Black, 42

As usual, a good price, for good quality from Base. After 2 disappointments in a month with Milwaukee and Rock Fall boots, I returned to my first love, the BASE brand. Light, comfortable and flexible, they are exactly what I wanted for my tired legs. the color is a bit darker than in the presentation images and they are not "made in Italy", but "made in Albania" The colored logo in the heel area is also missing

EDIT: 11months in they've finally fallen apart at the toes. Everything else is still good. 11months, worn 50hours a week. Highly recommend, will be buying again. Only a week in, so cant say for wear and tear yet. They're not falling apart so far, so thats a plus i guess ;) Its been pretty bad weather this week, so had a good chance to test them. I upgraded from some terrible, terrible, cheap boots. So, im probably easily impressed ;) but these boots are great. They're fairly light, very grippy, comfortable. Ive worn them in torrential rain, and came home with dry feet. Ive worn them from 6am til 6pm, my feet feel fine. Im such a cheapskate, i begrudge paying £60 for trainers. Yet i feel like my new boots are well worth the money. Will definitely buy another pair. 1 small note: I wear a size 11 in most trainers, boots etc. I got these in an 11, but feel like i dont have much room. They're not uncomfortable in the slightest, however i feel had i ordered an 11.5 id be slightly more comfortable.

I wanted to wait at least 6 months before reviewing my purchase. It is now 7 months and I have worn these boots 5/6 days a week pretty much ever since. I previously wore DM's which I still love, but they were heavy. These Base Protection boots have exceeded all expectations and have become my favourite boots ever. They are flexible, light and very comfortable. The soles seem extremely hard-wearing, not a lot of wear visible. I only wish they were waterproof, but then they don't claim to be. I have no hesitation in recommending these work boots, I will be buying another pair to keep as a replacement pair.

Cheap quality for around 60 £ price. Only looks good on the photo. Stitching failed first day at work.Leather very thin. Very disappointed. Do not recommend to anyone

These shoes are great when you first put them on, superb comfort and great flexibilty, I however developed a pain in my foot, after a few weeks narrowed it down to these shoes i found a hard lump in the otherwise soft feeling sole, i dug in and found a hard plastic diamond shaped peice that was makimg it feel as though I had a stone in my shoe. After removing this my foot pain didn't get better and finally gave up. On the plus side the entire upper of the shoe is excellent and develops a classic aged leather look. Crappy cheap soles ruin a very well designed shoe also would love if these were wider and they'd fly off the shelves as barefoot steel toe caps all they're missing a big spacious toe box.

Was a little sceptical before purchase, but these are by far the most comfy safety shoes I’ve owned Don’t think they will last as long as I’d like, but well worth the money Highly recommended

These boots are really comfy, look great and after 6 months of wearing them most days they're pretty much still as good as new. They fit the same as my trainers of the same size so i'd say the sizing is correct and I dont have any trouble driving in them, they feel just like wearing normal boots. When these eventually wear out which dosnt seem like any time soon I'm definately buying another pair
