Well made camcorder
Bought this to replace the 1080p version.. Very happy with the colour and quality of the video . The wind noise reduction mike also worked well...the zoom was more then enough for My needs and using the stability mode helped a lot.. Over all it's a well made camcorder and simple to use. Cheers

Small ,compact, Excellent picture quality, would recommend
Love the camera, great picture quality. I use it for my YouTube vlogs in conjunction with my DJI Osmo 3. I think the picture quality is better than the Osmo, but i had to purchase a separate Gimbal for the Panasonic . When you add up the costs including the gimbal it is around £900. Depending what you need it for, both cameras are excellent, have found I use the Osmo more, simply because it has a built in gimbal and is more compatible, but still love the Panasonic and can even link it up to my DJI radio mike system .

Great piece of kit!
*I’ve had to deduct a star as I’ve been having some charging issue. ( I probably just have a bad unit or battery) I’ve been using the Panasonic HC-VX3E for a few weeks now, and I’ve got to say—I’m seriously impressed! The image quality is crisp and full of detail, the stabilization is rock solid, and it handles low light way better than I expected. It’s lightweight, easy to hold for longer shoots, and the controls are intuitive even if you’re not a total camera pro. The zoom is smooth and powerful without losing much clarity, and the touchscreen menu makes quick adjustments a breeze. Perfect for capturing family moments, events, or even more serious video projects. My only small gripe? I really wish it supported 4K at 60fps—that would’ve made it absolutely perfect for action shots or smooth cinematic footage. But even without that, it’s a fantastic camcorder that delivers pro-level results for the price

Excellent 4k image.
My Panny VXF990 had come to the end of it's life so I considered other options like mirrorless or action cameras but decided to buy the new VX3E. It's improved in a few areas but basically the same as the previous model (no viewfinder, which I never used), image quality and stability is excellent. The only downside is not being so good in very low light at night. If this size camcorder had a larger sensor it would be a knockout.

Does everything well for the enthusiast.
Such a nice camera to use. Thoughtfully designed and cleverly put together. The lens must be something a bit special; as the results I have had so far, are just what I wanted. Shady areas, bright areas and those with both are handled beautifully. Easy to use and fast to switch on - no irritating wait for it to get set! I have two other video cameras (big names too) but not being used now. That says it all for me.!
