1st use - it cut like butter. Sucked up all the hair into the vacuum hose/unit and was very easy to empty. I should have had a blade on the razor part as it cut shorter than expected but it still gave a great trim. This would be perfect for large dogs where you have lots of hair to trim. You may have to empty the container more often but certainly no problem considering how easy it is to use.

I did not expect much from clippers under $40, but this is an excellent product. it is quiet and powerful enough and even has 3 different speeds. It came fully charged and I tried it right away on the fluffy coat of my Pyrennes mix. It was effortless and actually enjoyable to do some trimming. I used it for 30 minutes and the clipper head never got warm at all. The instructions were okay, just not detailed enough, especially for taking off the head to clean it. I figured it out, but better instructions are needed. Overall, I highly recommend this clipper.

March 2022(for reference in a second follow up to come)So honestly I bought these just for doing light work, like mild trimming, paw pads, and sanitary areas.Which so far after the first use, these clippers excelled quite well!As far as noise level, the quietest setting is pretty close to my higher end Wahl clippers. However that's being compared to my Wahl at its highest setting. So the noise level isn't worth the hype that it gets.Really my big reason for getting the One Is All clippers was so that if I get kicked at while shaving paw pads, I don't have to worry about breaking my $200 clippers due to a light fall (which they definitely will break from just about any fall)The One Is All clippers are slightly lighter, making them a little more comfortable to use. I also enjoy the digital screen that gives me information about speed, heating, charge level, and an indicator for oil.What I really don't like though, is that the button is fairly easy to push for powering on/off.While trimming its nice incase the dog moves funny and you need to shut them off quickly. It is just a smidge handier than a sliding switch. However, that means that I have to be very careful when traveling, so that it doesn't accidentally turn on in my travel bag.My only other initial qualm, is that the blade is very specific for the clippers. My Wahl can use just about any adjustable length blades, or even a standard non adjustable blade if need be.The One is All clippers seem to only work with a One is All blade, due to design. Which means I'll have to make sure I always have one or two replacements on hand due to wear and tear or accidents.I'm both skeptical and eager to see how long the blade stays sharp. If it can last me at least a few months, and if the clippers can prove to handle slightly more difficult tasks, like matting within paw pads, along with general longevity. I would definitely consider keeping these as my second pair alongside my Wahl.My first impression and first time use of them has made me very hopeful and I will definitely be doing a follow up review in a few months.

Finally, an easy to use cordless trimmer for my dogs that will hold up to the heavy, dense coat of one and the silky soft coat of the other. Yes, they are the same breed :) Great trimmer for the price. Holds a charge long enough to groom two dogs and more. Guard combs easily pop on and off. Super quiet for my skiddish little pup. Blade doesn’t heat up like Andi’s. Super little trimmer for a great price!

These clippers have been great the two times we have used them so far. Used them on a cat. My daughter did the cat and noted that they were very quite and cut like butter, so the cat was less stressed in the quick job of cutting her long hair. It didn't pull on the tangles and cut smooth and quietly. had the cat done before she realized what was happening. Did so well we did another with the same great effectiveness. I have not had to deal with sharpening yet but so far these have been the best clippers we have used. I got them after spending a really long time cutting our Golden Retriever for the summer with another pair of pet clippers. kept bogging down in the tangles and long hair. took forever. I am anxiously waiting for next season doing her with these magic cutters.

I have a Yorkie poodle mix. As he has gotten older he has bitten our groomer. He was kicked out! I am a hair stylist. I would try to groom him with my clippers but they are heavy and it was very messy. Yesterday in less than an hour, he was done! This is a great tool! I am very happy!

It’s okay but I wish it had more suction!

Work well, gets all that poodle hair together. Only one complaint;1. The vacuum battery could last longer, it’s hard to get a standard poodle in one charge then long to recharge. Guess it’s to be expected. I would opt for a bigger battery if it was available.
