Carefree Fish Magnetic Aquarium Wave Maker

These were too powerful for my 40 gal breeder. I bought two of them, but even one would have been too much. I turned it on to it's lowest setting and it still blew sand around. These would work better on a 60 gal and up tank unless you want a lot of flow. They seem built very well and they were quiet. I couldn't hear then sitting 6 feet from my tank.

I've owned all kinds of pumps over the years but I've never had one as solid or quiet at this price point, plus it's capable of several random flow patterns and way more powerful than expected. Running 24/7 on the lowest setting since the day it arrived it has been generating more than enough flow for my 40 gallon breeder mixed reef tank.

Installed and running 24x7 for six months and it stopped running. It make a humming sound. Took it out can clean it. Still nothing. Would not recommend it

This is a very nice wavemaker. It's compact with great flow and simple adjustability. It comes with a foam surround for the wave head to prevent little critters from getting sucked in which is a bonus. I love the wavemaker size and it will really move a lot of water quickly, and the price is great too.

I've had it for one day so far and i'm using it on a 55 gallon reef tank. I would give it a 3.5, it works well, but you definitely could not use this on a 80 gallon as they say in the description. I have it on the max settings on my 55 and its "ok". Aside from that I feel like it is a solid purchase as it does what it says it does.
