Review of SIGANDG 31V 6W Transformer Plug IP44 Power Supply Adapter with 8 Lighting Modes, Timer and Memory Function.Having bought Christmas tree lights with a transformer such as this I found the versatility this plug offers to be very good, however not having seen this type of transformer before I was a little dubious about obtaining a spare in case of failure during the festive season, so when this appeared on Amazon it was immediately ordered.The transformer a one stop entertainment centre for a string of LED Xmas lights, plug into a wall socket and one button operates all the functions sequentially, from different light patterns to dimmer and even a timer function. One item offered that I would not recommend is use outdoors as it is only IP44, that damp proof and not waterproof so indoor use only or a covered area to plug into the mains.Another important factor with connection is that this adapter/ transformer fitted with a screw on round connector between it and the LED light string, although only a two pin type it needs to be offered by the LED lights to match the transformer connection, having this as a spare could easily prevent a non illuminated Christmas season.

Did the job just make sur you get the right voltage. and wattage

There is no timer function as promised in description

This has saved my life from flashing Xmas lights. The default mode is just always on and the memory feature allows you to set and forget!I have not used any of the timer functions.Perfect for pairing with a smart socket or similar to time your decorations coming on.Always check the voltage and connectors of electronics before swapping components out.

The promised timer function won't work. There are no instructions, apart from the description on the listing but this just didn't work. It was too low value to be bothered sending it back.

The transformer that came supplied with our premier 1500 tree brights LED Christmas lights (bought last year) annoyingly didn't have a memory feature.I was using them with a smart plug, and every time they switched on they went into a flashing mode. Whereas we only wanted to use them in steady mode.Anyway, got this 9w 31v transformer as a replacement, and it works perfectly. Has a memory feature, so stays in steady mode - exactly what I wanted.Good value.

This is a replacement for a missing one for a set of lights. The connector plugged into the transformer with no problem and it successfully powered the string of lights. The button worked to change the lighting mode so it does the job.

Mis-described as a timer power supply.This is a basic 8 lighting mode power supply for string lighting requiring 31v.As such it works well, but it does not include a timer function. There is no green led and double clicking the button merely advances the lighting mode.The plastic the casing is made from is very hard and therefore likely to be brittle, especially in cold weather, so care should be exercised inserting and removing it from power sockets. The earth pin on such psu's can be prone to breaking off if not inserted and removed squarely.Only 3 stars for the mis-description.
