The idea I thought was great! I did have some issues with it staying down after the pump quit it and everything else floated out. Not sure it’s that much easier then to just clean out the pump basket. But for the price worth giving it a try maybe it would be something easier for you🤷🏽‍♀️

Makes it so much easier to get ready for cleaning the pool. No longer need to wrestle with the hose and kinks or priming before starting the pump. My neighbor is getting one after borrowing mine

I have to return/exchange I didn’t measure first. I will feel like in theory, if it’s the right size, this would be a good product

This is exactly what I need and I'd recommend it to anyone. The only thing I wish this had is a rubber gasket around the outer edge of the plastic like my other "straight" skim vac plate has. For times where I do not setup my vac 100% having that helps but to be fair if you use your vac correctly it is not needed.I have already recommended this to a neighbor.

Listing by fits model # not too helpful. Not sure where to look for model number. Should have said is 7 inches wide. I need a 6 inch wide plate. Would save on need for return shipping.

Does the job but could use a rubber gasket for absolute suction.
