Why is this book so brilliant?
The answer is "...it just is!!"This book was bought for me and when my children reached "that age" I could fully appreciate the humour. It's especially great if can read it out in child and then alien voice too. Both my son and daughter loved it and it still makes them chuckle to think of it. It also has an alien code where you can work out the message and then write messages of your own to each other. Brilliant, brilliant book!

Brilliant
I got this for one of my nieces and I liked it so much I spent months looking for another copy for myself. It has humour, charm and great illustrations.

I Was Impressed
This was purchased for two little girls, a first grader and a fourth grader. The older one read it aloud to the younger one. The first grader thought it was funny that the child was so persistent and asked "Why?" about every single thing. Of course, that question becomes the stumper when aliens land, so you should read the book to see what happens. The fourth grader actually worded out a de-coder chart and decoded the dialogue boxes over the heads of the aliens (it was a bit too complicated for the littler one).I was impressed.

a book for giggles
My grandson, the King of Why, giggled all the way through this book. There are charming questions and amusing interactions. The giggle is good enough for me.
