I am determined to find something which gives my expensive knives (not Japanese) an edge. I have tired steels, other devices even an £80+ electric sharpener which is OK. I use the electric sharpener then finish off with this and it's brilliant.

Great steel, got it for £6 and this was amazing value. It maintains knife edge well. Using it with my x50 hardness knifes and it does the job.
