The baby monitor comes with one display monitor and one camera. The camera has a flexible and adjustable long neck and a round base that can pan. The monitor’s image is slightly pixelated but still sharp enough to distinguish one face from another and to see all facial features when the camera is close enough. On the back, the monitor has an adjustable kickstand. I would estimate the resolution to be around 480p. However, it has night vision, so I can keep watching in the dark. I measured the screen’s size to be about 5 inches diagonally.The monitor has a built-in battery and buttons on the left to pan the camera left and right and to navigate the monitor’s menu. It also has volume buttons, a mic button to speak through the camera’s speaker, and a menu button to change settings. If I press the menu button, I can navigate with the arrow buttons and select an item with the OK button. To leave a section of the menu, I press the menu button again, and to exit the menu entirely, I press the menu button once more.Through the menu, I can change the brightness, screen magnification, play lullabies or white noise, and adjust their playback volume. I can set a timer from half an hour up to 6 hours in 30-minute increments, add additional cameras, set up multiview if there are more than one camera, change the unit of the temperature displayed on the screen, and change the color of the camera’s mood light.The camera’s neck is very adjustable, and I can even rotate the head. There is an arrow indicating which side is supposed to be up and down. The camera has an SD card slot. The base of the camera features a large round mood light that I can turn on by tapping it and change colors by tapping it again. To turn it off, I have to touch and hold the mood light for several seconds. I prefer using the monitor to change colors rather than tapping on the mood light. The base of the camera also has volume buttons to increase and decrease the volume of the camera’s speaker. I keep it at maximum volume as the speakers aren’t very loud anyway. I can also change the brightness of the mood light with the brightness button.I found two pair buttons on the camera—one on the base and one on the head. I’m not sure if both serve the same purpose, but I didn’t have to press the pair button; the camera connected automatically to the monitor. There’s also a power switch on the camera, so I don’t have to unplug it every time I don’t need it. Both the monitor and the camera came with an AC power adapter that outputs 5 volts/2 amps through a male USB-C plug. So, I can also use regular USB-C cables to power both devices.The baby monitor works with the ChillaxCare app, which I downloaded from the Google Play Store. The app takes up over 50 MB of space. It provides access to additional settings and functions. I receive sound and motion detection push notifications and can view the camera’s livestream on my phone. In the app, I can change some settings of the camera and see how much free space is available on the inserted SD card. It also has a diary where I can log activities like feeding, diaper changes, growth etc.One issue I had was with manually taking pictures and videos from the live feed. The app wouldn’t save anything. I noticed I had to allow some permissions under app info, and then I could finally save pictures and videos.

This is a really feature packed baby monitor. It comes with both the monitor and a little display unit. I really like you don't need to use your phone to see what it is watching - it's so much nicer when there's a seperate display you can use. The camera part is really neat, most are just the egg shape that you plop somewhere but you can't really direct what to watch. This one has the long neck that you can contort so you can see exactly what you want. I thought this was a really cool design. As for image quality, it's good enough - you can see what's going on and what not. It isn't HD by any means though. There's a ton of other functionality in here, it's really full featured. In fact a lot of the features I have never used before so it's a bit overkill in my opinion. All in all, this is a really solid baby monitor with a ton of features.

Its not my favorite monitor I've had. It has a lot of nice features and a lot of extras that I don't think we're necessary.My favorite feature is that you can use the monitor or your phone. The picture is very clear too. Night vision is great. I like that it has a warning for room temperature as our baby's room gets really cold and I wake up all night wondering if its too cold.What I don't care for is the diaper change and feeding tracking. Once passed Newborn stage that is unnecessary and theres a ton of other parenting apps for that. Theres 2 main buttons on the top of the monitor specifically for this feature too. Where those prominent button placement could have been something more useful like viewing contrast or volumn. It just feels like an over reach for a baby monitor.I wish it came with a wall mount piece as I'll have to order that separately. The base has the hooks for the mount so that is good at least. The touch light is a bit finicky. You have to touch it exactly in the center circle. It doesn't always seem to work either. Turning off is a bit frustrating. The Music feature is interesting. Its clear music and not pitchy like kids toys. So that is a plus. The keys on the monitor are a bit tricky to navigate. I wish it had the VOX sound alart where it always you to put the monitor in quite sleep mode and if there's an sound the monitor and sound turns on. But no. It also doesn't block out background noise so if you have a fan or sound machine running you get that through the monitor too. The app you can set alerts to your phone for motion or sounds which seems nice but it's constantly on unless you go into the app setting and manually adjust it each time of day otherwise everytime you enter your child's room you'll get a ton of phone alerts. Sooo for as expensive as this piece is, it has a lot of functions that, in my opinion, aren't necessary and lacking ones that would be beneficial.

I have been really happy with this baby monitor. It has all the features you need and more to keep tabs on your little one. I love that it has an integrated night light that can change colors. It acts as the base for the camera, which is easily positioned with the flexible neck. The camera comes with a stand alone monitor, but it can also be used with the app, which is user friendly. I really love the versatility of being able to use this with or without WiFi. The overall build of the camera is very solidly made, and the picture quality is excellent - crisp and clear - as well as the sound quality. Overall, I couldn't be happier with the functionality and quality of the set.
