This pair lives along side three other straight tweezers which I use in the kitchen. I have the straight 7" pair from the same company, and 2 larger ones (maybe 8-9") which are good for bigger bits of food, like sausage rounds. (One was actually positioned to be sold for replanting seedlings).I find that I reach out for this shape the most. For plating, even for fixing troublesome paper coffee filters when pre-wetting them.Delicate, yet strong enough with just the right springi-ness -- at least for me.You won't regret buying it.

These are awesome tweezers for the price. I'm using these primarily for planting in my freshwater aquarium and so far they have performed extremely well. I've only really had the tweezers for a day, so it's hard to say how well their "stainless" quality holds up.Quality looks good. Good feel; nice heft.I'm very happy with this purchase so far.Edit: Used these for several weeks now and they're holding up awesomely. I've planted loads of things in my aquarium and they work great. Looks like the stainless steel is genuine on these because they have stood up to harsh treatment and are still looking shiny and clean.Now I need to buy a longer pair from this company.

Still using these for head to head play. If I need to I just fold up a little bit of tissue paper for when the counters are larger than the resting state of the tweezers. 100% satisfied.

I feel like the point of tweezers is for use in tight spaces with accuracy. This was just too chunky to use.

Long point helps me to insert thread into serger.

Not as precise as some other scientific sets I purchased, but for the price they are perfect for the job. I use these and others for fragging corals and the work fine.

Tweezer is of decent quality but does not appear to be stainless steel as the description says. Does not say on package or product that it is stainless steel . Bought it to use to dig out tonsil stones but appears to be chromed. Does stick to magnet.
