The media could not be loaded. This is a fun and more unique little Christmas Snow Globe Lantern in the shape of a train, that also has a little light projection that comes out the top. It has gold paint clearly kind of painted across different parts of it to give it a more antique like look, from a distant it doesn’t look as noticeable or maybe “cheap” looking. It is made of plastic, so doesn’t haven’t a lot of weight or anything to it aside from the weight from water and the engine piece. You do have to have the piece plugged in for the music to work and the light to project out the top. Cute that it does that, I think my 2.5 year old daughter gets a kick out of that. It’s on sale right now for around $20 which I think is the perfect price point, but I got it at around $35 which now looking at it I’m a bit shocked at because I would never spend that amount on this piece knowing its plastic and the paint job and stuff, had I known. Around $20 is definitely more worth it.

The snow globe is pattern after Santa‘s train. It has Santa and a puppy dog with a tree in the snow globe part. It is a medium sized snow globe. It is musical and has a three-way switch. If you look up above on the ceiling, you’ll see that it also has a reflective piece that broadcast a picture of Santa Claus and the puppy dog onto the ceiling. The music is the typical standard music. It is a good addition to my snow globe collection and that it is unique by being a train. it is easy to clean just dust it off with a duster. It does not really collect any dirt or dust. It takes three AA batteries and it’s easy to insert the batteries. You do need a little tiny screwdriver though because they have secured the battery door with a small screw. Do you keep the box so you can store it for years on end. You can also use the cord that comes with it so you don’t have to use batteries. It is very well priced for the quality of the snow globe.

Cute snow globe with a nice projection on the ceiling but it has one fatal flaw. It can be powered with either the included usb cable or 3 AA batteries. We are battery people and we like to use the timer mode. Well, the only timer mode puts the projection, music and light on. Similar globes allow the timer to be used without the music. It plays a selection of the usual songs but after a few minutes, it becomes annoying. It also eats up batteries way too fast. It then becomes a cute globe but we will need to turn it on and off manually. Nice if the setup works for you. It does not for us.

This is just an adorable motorized snow globe by itself, but the "Santa" projection onto the ceiling just made me fall in love with it. It plays music as well, comes with an HDMI plug (but no wall adapter. I had one, but still....) and takes 3 AA batteries if you don't want to plug it in. Which is great, because where I put it there's no handy wall plug. You turn the on/off switch one way for lights, swirls, and music, the other way for just lights and swirls. The projector is in the smoke stack, and it looks so cute on the white ceiling over our kitchen island. I just love this one!

It makes a lot of noise

AAA batteries will allow you to use this beautiful snowglobe without having to use the USB power. It's so pretty especially at night. The projection is pretty neat, but it's the inside snow blowing around inside that I like best!

However, as I write this, it is listed at $30 w/an extra 20% off coupon (would have given it 5 stars at the current price w/coupon).My video doesn't do it justice, honestly. Very pretty! Has music option. Displays scene on the ceiling.Great addition for anyone's Christmas collection or as a gift for anyone who likes snow globes. Could also be a lovely nightlight for a little one.
