Beautiful and all natural (I think)
These beads are a beautiful honey color complete with varying shades and darker imperfections as common amber should be. They are certified to be "100% genuine and natural amber stones from Baltic Sea." I have no reason to distrust this statement but it concerns me that the seller repeatedly refers to these beads as stones and gemstones. Technically, amber is not a stone. It's fossilized tree resin and considered an organic gem but not a stone. I know it's just a matter of semantics but I would think that a store that calls itself Amber Culture would not make this mistake repeatedly.I hate to think that these beads may not be what they claim but that doesn't change the fact that they're gorgeous and fascinating and add a warm glow to any piece of jewelry. They're equally attractive just resting in a clear glass bottle.

Great little beads for the jewelry maker
I ordered these amber beads in the cognac color because I love that standard ‘amber’ color. These beads arrived in a small resealable plastic bag with an information card. The listing states 40 beads but I received 41. The beads are all symmetrical and there is little variation in color in my entire batch. The color is that wonderfully rich reddish brown that I think of when someone says amber. Mine are a bit darker than the pictures in the description but that could be due to lighting. Holes seemed to be fully drilled (I did not test them all). These are small beads but they will be perfect for a variety of jewelry projects-now I just need to decide what to use them in.My Amazon rating system-Five stars-Great item. May have a minor flaw that does not detract from appearance or function.Four stars-Great item. Flaw or problem more noticeable. Or, price may be high for what it is.Three stars-Good item. Has a flaw/problem that requires more work than should be invested in a product. Two stars-May be a good item with work. Or, doesn’t work for me but may for someone else. One star-Nope. Doesn’t work for me and probably won’t for anyone else.

Amber beads
These are a soft honey colored amber bead. They are very tiny. I had to use a very small guage elastic through the holes, but that was to be expected with how small the beads are. I noticed that just one of the beads had a spot where the hole wasn't drilled quite right, but the rest were fine.

Beautiful rich color!
I've always loved amber simply for it's wide variety of shades and the little bits of earth's ancient past that it has preserved. It can take more than 40,000 years to form with the largest amounts found in Baltic Sea sands up to 60 million years old. Some people have been fortunate to find pieces of amber that hold whole insects millions of years old and frozen in time--it's amazing! These beads live up to that amazing history. The warmth and the depth of the color is a wonder to behold. If you look closely, you can make out those little bits that make each and every bead its individuality and uniqueness. These are very tiny and they do seem to have a bit of static electricity that makes them want to clump together but if you're careful they will make a beautiful piece of jewelry that will be worth your time to create. I haven't decided exactly what I will make, whether it be a bracelet or a necklace I can't wait design and complete.

Very nice amber beads.....
The quality of these amber beads is very nice, they are all pretty uniform in range of color and size. The hole size is fairly consistent and they are easy to string without catching or fraying your stringing material. They are perfect for a micro-macrame necklace I am making. I would order these again as long as the quality remains consistent. 👍

Nice small amber beads
I received both the butterscotch and the cognac colors and they look very nice in person. I tested these beads with a UV light and they do appear to be real amber. Nice little beads for delicate jewelry work.

Great quality, not a great value.
Definitely not impressed, I imagined so much more! Approximately 40 beads that are very small. The coloring is gorgeous, bright, beautiful butterscotch! Each bead is smooth, polished and easy to thread! Will make a beautiful bracelet! Unfortunately only one bracelet can be made with the amount of beads received. Really great quality, not a great value.

Beautiful color.
These amber beads are nicely shaped, and the holes are well drilled. I love the slight color variation. They appear to be real amber.

Disappointing - they just look like black glass beads
🔹INTRO & DESCRIPTION🔹I chose these beads as I make my own jewellery, and I have long been a fan of amber, having several pieces in my own jewellery collection. This set includes 40 beads with an approximate weight of 3g in total. The beads are 5 to 6 mms in diameter, and have a hole drilled through. They arrive in a clear plastic bag with a card containing information about the product. They are certified as 100% genuine natural amber from the Baltic Sea.🔹OPINION🔹&🔹CONCLUSION🔹I actually received 42 beads in my order. As you can see from my photos they are quite small, but the main thing which did disappoint me was that they all appear to be black. I could see they are a darker shade of amber from the product information page, but it is possible to see some brown shades. However, the ones I received look completely black with no warm brown shades. To me they just look like black glass beads, so anyone seeing them, or thinking of purchasing my handmade jewellery would likely think the same.Under the description the information states “Be Unique – each raw amber stone is different and unique”. This is not the case, as all mine look exactly the same. It also says “amber jewellery features vivid and dynamic colours”. Again, mine all look black. In conclusion, although the beads are smooth and neatly drilled, I would not personally purchase these again. I realise this is a natural product, but it does naturally come in various shades, so a little variety in the colour would have made all the difference. The ad does state “random lot of natural Baltic amber”, so you cannot be sure of what you will receive. Finally, at the time of ordering, these beads were priced at £16.95, which is 42p per bead, and I consider this to be vastly overpriced.

Really beautiful
One of my hobbies is jewellery making, I usually work with sterling silver and semiprecious stones like amethyst, so I was pleased to find these natural amber beads.Like all natural gemstones there are some small imperfections, but that just adds to the appeal for me. The clarity of colour is excellent and the natural beauty of the amber is retained. The beads are evenly sized and the holes are well drilled and centred. They will look beautiful on earings/pendants/bracelets, and are easy to work with.Overall I'm very pleased with these beads and will be making some lovely jewellery with them. I'd definitely recommend them. 5*

Beads of Sweat 😅
Unfortunately this product failed to impress me. Its sheerness was much to be desired. Maybe it was the sheer diameter that failed to catch the natural light/ torch light to reveal it’s varying hue.
