If you play fps games this thing is a must, works great and good quality, if you are handy it’s pretty easy to install.

Not hard to install. There are videos to help you do this. My favorite controller due to I have dualsense edge controller as well. Battery on the normal ones last a whole lot longer. If it ever gets joystick drift it won't be fun to have to fix so keep that in mind if you plan on getting this. Make sure you buy a new controller that has latest colors so no worry about the board being the new version. All buttons map to what I wanted and I did the soldering for the joystick remap.

I got the backbuttons for Monster Hunter Wilds (as their controls for the Insect Glaive are terrible with a standard controller) and for CoD and I'm beyond happy with how my upgraded controller feels, looks and works. The added weight alone is a bonus in my opinion, but the buttons feel great, very snappy, the trigger stops are game changer. The texture on the back shell is very pleasant and the whole thing seems very durable. I have small-ish hands and can easily reach all the buttons and my husband with bigger hands has no issues either. This kit should be a good fit for most people. Installation took me quite a bit of time, maybe 2 to 3 hours for two controllers. I never did anything like this before, so it's definitely newbie-proof. The videos on the extremerate website are very detailed and helpful, but be prepared to pause them a lot. I will buy another one for my spare controller, that just has to wait a little as the kit is somewhat pricey, but still much better than buying a $199 Dualsense Edge controller.

I installed it without soldering r3/l3 since I do not use those. This is a good thing to add some functionality to original Dualsense. Only issue I have with it is a bit complex setup and overall bulkiness of device. It takes some time to get used to it after Edge controller.

With soldering skills, this is a simple kit and well worth the money. I have a list of friends and family asking me to do the upgrade. Well worth the money! If you don’t have the skills to solder, you can bypass mapping the analog sticks, making this an even simpler install.

This was a very fun kit to install. My only gripe are a few things. 1. I wish more care was taken with packaging the replacement bottom shell. It comes wrapped in a plastic sealed bag which makes any outside conflicts with the part very likely to damage it. Many of the plastic clips (namely the two bottom ones) that allows it to snap to the upper shell were bent. I had to manually straighten them out to fix them. I could also feel by adjusting them that they only have a couple disassemblys left in them (in case I need to make adjustments). 2. The screw holes were easy to strip out without applying almost no turning torque. This is a result of either the quality of the shell plastic, inconsistencies in the shell's molding process and/or a lackthereof of quality control during packaging. Thankfully I save all the extra tiny plastic screws I've acquires over the years so I had to insert one with larger teeth. Still though, I turned the supplies screw and it immediately stripped out the hole like it was butter with really no turning force whatsoever. 3. The metal back plate for the paddles being snap-on is a really bad idea. I purchased the metal option to give the finished controller a more quality weighty feel. But having the metal backplate snap-on to the rear paddles plastic housing was not a good call. The metal cover is not going the flex and snap-on like the all-plastic version of this kit. This results in the metal teeth likely sheering off the plastic teeth when attempting to attach or detach the metal housing. I feel for the metal parts in particular, it would be best for the metal back plate to be a screw-on assembly to help extend the life of the plastics. 4. The tolerances are a bit shaky. This normally isn't an issue due to being able to use the supplied pads to reduce the tapping sounds and increase reduce tolerances, gaps and play ing the kit. However, the plastic being so easily damaged by other parts in the kit or just by the kits disassembly itself makes the $55.99 asking price a very risky endeavor. 5. Assembly instructions were very vague at times or outright out of date. It would be very advantageous to list the required screw's measurements in the guide (similar to how iFixit does) to greatly reduce confusion and assembly mistakes resulting in damage to the kit. Also the linked instructions were out of date for this specific kit showing steps and parts from previous kit revisions. With all that said, once assembled is a very spiffy controller. Note though to those reading this: this kit does not perform macros or have turbo functionalities - just remapping. I wish I was able to map same button presses - for example having triangle and circle being pressed at the same time mapped to one of the paddles. All in all, the quality is of the product is so close but not quite there. I highly recommend this kit, just be prepared for all the assembly quirks you may run into.

Après avoir été un fervent utilisateur des versions précédentes (RISE 4 V1 et V3), qui m'avaient déjà conquis par leur qualité, leur optimisation et leur facilité d'installation, cette version MAX est une véritable réussite. ​L'upgrade est notable : la présence des palettes en métal est toujours un point fort (essentiel pour la durabilité) et le nouveau système de plusieurs profils/presets est un atout majeur pour adapter rapidement la configuration à n'importe quel jeu. ​Très déçu par le tout nouveau système Spark fraîchement sorti, j'ai fait le choix de revenir vers cette valeur sûre, le RISE4 Plus MAX. Le résultat est un pur bonheur ! L'optimisation du produit est au rendez-vous. ​Verdict : Si vous cherchez un kit de palettes de qualité, fiable et hyper réactif, c'est celui qu'il vous faut. Et n'ayez pas peur du montage, c'est un jeu d'enfant! eXtremeRate reste la référence !

Wie der Titel schon verspricht ist das Kit einfach PERFEKT!!! Natürlich ist die Installation nichts für Grobmotoriker oder technisch Unbegabte. Man sollte auf jeden fall mit dem Lötkolben umgehen können um das Kit einzubauen. Traut man sich dies zu tun, lohnt es sich definitiv. Ich hatte schon einige fertig kaufbare Controller mit Pedals von Freunden in der Hand, aber war nie ein Fan davon, da mir diese für den Preis von ca. 200€ einfach zu minderwertig bzw. fragil waren. Als ich auf dieses Kit stoß wollte ich es aber dennoch mal versuchen, da ich mir kürzlich eine Lötstation gekauft hatte und einfach ein wenig basteln wollte. Ich bin also auch wirklich kein Profi im Löten. Die Installation war durch die Anleitungsvideos sehr genau beschrieben und dadurch auch top durchzuführen. Insgesamt hat der Einbau mich ungefähr 2-3 Stunden gekostet. Hab mir natürlich Zeit gelassen ;) Das Endergebnis ist ein Traum: -Die Pedals haben einen sehr angenehmen Wiederstand -Nichts knirscht, wackelt oder kratzt -Die Qualität ist super -Die der Tastenhub ist winzig -Die Anti-Rutsch-Pads sind sehr angenehm und kleben nicht auch nach längerer Benutzung -Die original Funktionen wie die adaptiven Trigger bleiben bestehen. -Und natürlich die verschieden Profile sind sehr praktisch Wie man vielleicht merkt bin ich ein absoluter Fan geworden. Kleiner Tipp: Am besten direkt Hall-Effekt-Sticks mit verbauen, da man sonst sobald man Stickdrift bekommt alles wieder zerlegen muss, was unangenehm werden könnte.
