First time user!
This was my first time to use this type of mat in baking. I've always used parchment paper in the past. They did bake perfectly on the bottom and evenly for the entire cookie sheet - a first:) My only complaint would be the size. Don't know about others but my cookie sheets are not as small as these mats. I could only bake 15 cookies at a time instead of 20-24 that I would normally get on a sheet because of the constrictions of the mat being smaller. I have to decide if taking more time to bake the cookies is worth it. I would definitely give a 5 star if it were a little larger :)This seller is tremendous with emails telling you when they are coming and supplying any help you might need or answering questions. Kudos for great service!!

I'd choose these again over Silpats
I'm pleased with these mats. I have one Silpat that I still use and bought these to replace two old ones. I've made one batch of cookies using these and they released just fine. The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is that these didn't release rice krispie treats as well as the Silpat, but that's such a minor thing that it doesn't bother me. I will use the Silpat for that and greased parchment. Considering the price difference, I'd still choose these over more Silpats.

Smart Move
I had never heard of Silicon being used in baking until I started taking classes in the Culinary Management Program here at Pensacola State College. In the back corner of the kitchen is a stack of SILPATs. I did see the advanced students using them but had no idea what they were doing. One year later I know that I want SILPATs....I have been saving my money. Do you see in the stock photo how you can see through the KC brand? I ordered 2 SILPATs and 2 Kitchen Classics; thinking the KC brand would be super thin. They both came in the same amazon container. There is absolutely NO difference....except name and price. Even the red border is exactly the same. They fit my half size perfectly. Once in position....they do not slip around. Jelly rolls was their first challenge. Wow. My next thought was, "Please do not smell like silicon." Smelled like jelly rolls....taste like jelly rolls. Check their bottoms....perfect.Once the stuck on jelly cools, I put the mats in soapy water for maybe 2 minutes....just a habit. I said to my wife, "You have to see this. Take the sponge and wipe the mat." I have no idea how anyone can fault this product. Even their customer support emailed me twice. Once to say they had been shipped and later to ask if I was satisfied with my experience.Oh....the SILPATs.....it doesn't make sense to pay that kind of money. They were returned for a refund that will be used to buy two more KC's.

Shipping/packaging damage
Two of the four I ordered appeared to have been folded tightly before they were rolled for shipping. After washing per instructions and laying they flat for a day the crease is still there. In the right light they seem to have some surface damage. I used them to roll out some pizza dough and they performed well. I am hesitant about baking on the two with the surface damage.

I started smelling something funny from the oven
Have used these several times now to bake cookies and to roast vegetables. Functioned well, but last time I used it (which was its third or fourth time being used), I started smelling something funny from the oven. It didn't affect the baked goods or even get so strong or unpleasant as to cause anything other than a "hmm, that's odd" sort of reaction, but I guess it's enough to knock off a star in this review. I will definitely be using these again, however.

Go Green, Go Silicone, Go Kitchen-Classics Bake Mats!!!
I was at a friends house who was cooking sticky buns a few weeks ago and i was SO impressed at how easy the clean up was! I had to ask them how! Turns out they had seen these silicone bake mats on Amazon. So I searched for Kitchen-Classics and found this great duo kit at a bargain price. They came super fast after ordering (Thanks Amazon Prime!) I bake a lot, especially cookies, and I usually go through a lot of parchment paper...but not anymore! Now I simply place the baking mat on the cookie sheet and away I go. When the cookies are done, I pick up the mat and the cookies just slide right off! Clean up is just as easy! I can't imagine baking with anything but my silicone baking mats from Kitchen-Classics.Pros:Go green! Save parchment paper and use reusable silicone bake mats!Healthier cooking with less oils and no processed baking spray (no need to grease pans to prevent sticking)Easily remove the stickiest, messiest food items right out of the oven with easeclean up is a breeze!

Works as well as the expensive brand
I've been using French silicone baking mats for many years, and when I noticed a couple were showing wear, I shopped for replacements. I was [pleasantly] surprised by the price for Kitchen Classics baking mats and wondered if they could do the same job as my pricey French versions. I decided to give them a try. They arrived sooner than promised, and included detailed instructions as to how to use and clean them. Yesterday I used them for the first time when I spent the day baking with four children. We made batch after batch of Valentine cookies, many liberally sprinkled with colored sugar (which melted onto the mats, of course). Cookies baked beautifully and lifted off the mats easily. Afterwards a quick swish in warm water restored the mats to good-as-new condition. So far so good! I'm very pleased with these mats, especially since I was able to buy two for less money than one of the other brand.

A little disappointed!
I would have given the product more stars if they hadn't been shipped in such a way that they have a slight crease in them. I am hoping the bump will straighten out when I use them in the oven. Since the product is rolled up and not to be folded, it would probably be a good idea not to place other items on top or squeeze them down with airbags. The product itself looks as described and I am sure will work great as I have another brand of silicone sheets that I am currently using.
