I bought this 2-pack of SIMREX walkie-talkies for a weekend of camping and backyard adventures, and they pleasantly exceeded my expectations. Right out of the box they were easy to use: the one-touch “push to talk” button is intuitive for kids and the key-lock feature means they can’t accidentally change channels mid-game. The sound is clear, the HD audio feature really makes a difference when the kids are calling from across the yard or while exploring. They’re lightweight and ergonomically designed for little hands, which means no complaints about devices being too bulky or heavy. We used them outdoors, and though the “long range” term can be generous, they held up well across our yard and into nearby trees. My children loved running around and signalling to each other (“base station” to “field agent”), pure fun and no hassles. A few things to note: they require 3 AAA batteries each, so this is something to plan for (I’d recommend keeping spares). They’re not waterproof, so if you’re planning serious hiking/rainy conditions you’ll want to be careful with storage. Also, while the range is decent for a toy/intercom style device, it’s not going to match premium hobby‐walkie models used for serious outdoor expeditions. But for what they’re designed for, kids’ play, camping, backyard missions, they do exactly what they promise. The SIMREX WK-07 walkie talkies work really well. The sound is clear even at long range. They are perfect for playing around the house or yard. My daughter loves using them and has had a lot of fun already. They are easy even for kids, and seem to be built pretty sturdy. Great for parent child games or just keeping in touch while playing. Highly recommend!

It’s a very easy affordable first toy Walkie talkie for the kids! It helps that it doesn’t feel plastic and like a toy for the kids to enjoy. The sound is clear and we have used it while in different areas of the house. It has a call feature that is pretty cool, but both have to be on at the same time. We have been using it for a more now and the battery life seems sufficient as well. Overall, perfect for our use and us to play w our kids.

These are poor quality. I bought two sets of batteries and one doesn’t work at all. They are flimsy. And to top it off when I went to return Amazon won’t give me the option to just return via QR code. I have to print the label and return in another package. I’m not paying UPS 3.50 for printing and tape for a junk toy that wasn’t but 15$ that never worked in the first place. Not sure why it was rated so well. Maybe I just got a fluke.

The walkie talkies work fine; however, I had to take screws out of one to reinstall a plastic piece that had not been installed properly and was bulging from the cover.

It is a nice, cheap set for younger kids. I don't expect them to last too long but nothing does when you give it to young boys :). It doesn't offer channel selection and is not the clearest voice, but it had a surprisingly good range. I think this is a great gift and my nephew loved them.

Se notan los plásticos algo corrientes, muy malos, vino fallado el único botón que trae, lo quise devolver pero fue todo un rollo, tenía que pagar de mi bolsa el envío y al parecer amazon me reembolsaba cierta parte. Estoy molesto con el vendedor porque la caja en la que vino ya había sido abierta por la cara de abajo, me hace pensar que el artículo ya había sido devuelto una vez, en fin, el artículo es malo, no se puede regular el volumen, el mío hace falso en las baterías y se apaga.
