I really wanted to love this product. But, it does not drain well & hard to even get the water into the jar either the strainer on. I also tried putting other screw in tops on it. But nothing fits. I do not recommend this sprouter for these reasons.

These so the job well and are well made, a lovely fine mesh which is also sturdy, One can grow a small amount in them, so don't expect a huge bowl of sprouts. Perfect for tiny seeds like sprouting broccoli. Easy to clean, just take apart, wash in sudsy water to remove any plant materials and rinse - good to go again. Value for money in the sense that as a counter top item, they are plesant to see.

The jar is small, the perforated lid holes are tiny, so rinsing is a pain, and really it is expensive. Better off with mason jars and stainless steel mesh lids, cheaper and easier to work with.
